A Few of Sookie's Favorite Cat Things

Sookie loves Snapple when it comes in a plastic bottle.

No, she doesn't drink it silly. She likes the little plastic ring that is left on the bottle after you remove the cap.

Sookie will play with a little plastic Snapple bottle ring for hours; chasing it, tossing it up into the air, catching it, and when she's done, she drops it into one of our shoes. At first we thought the shoe thing was an accident. You know, maybe she was playing with it and lost it in my husband's shoe but then my son started finding them in his shoes too. The thing that totally convinced me that her leaving the rings in our shoes was deliberate was when I was sitting at the table wearing a pair of flip-flops and Sookie came by and dropped the ring in between my foot and the shoe. Yeah, it was really cute until she decided that she wanted her Snapple ring back!

A tube of ChapStick Lip Balm is probably Sookie's second favorite thing to play with after the Snapple bottle rings. Tubes of ChapStick roll very nicely around, and around, and around the living room.

My husband is addicted to the stuff and goes crazy when he can't find his. At least now we know where to find it when it's missing. She usually leaves it under the couch.

Sookie has lots of fun stealing and tossing around my ponytail holders too!

We have to give Sookie her own dish with a tiny bit of my dog Ebony's food on it otherwise my dog won't be allowed to eat her own dinner. I think Sookie likes Little Cesar better than her own cat food because as soon as she sees me getting the container she starts whining.
