What about the flaws in FL Studio

In my opinion, there are not many that I've come across. There is one thing that could be changed, using ASIO driver, that seems to cause many users frustration. Learn the fundamentals of music theory. With a little knowledge of how things flow and the right beatmaking software you WILL begin creating some great beats. Don't let the title of this book fool you, this is a 128 page book that comes with a CD that will teach you the basics of music theory, and you will learn to read music too.

I bought this book after searching for information that would help me grasp the fundamentals of music, everything I had read online was very confusing and it was time consuming. This one little book gave me more knowledge than I needed to create melodies and chords, I can look at a piano keyboard now and I know each note by sight.

What can you learn from this skinny yellow book?

Lesson 3 focuses on scales and keys, and that my friend is invaluable information when creating beats. Once you understand the Major and Minor scales and learn what steps are you will improve your arrangements big time. FL Studio 9 has my favorite tool, the piano roll! What you learn in lesson 3 alone will put you way ahead in the game of beat making.

Have you ever pressed real piano keys or used the piano roll AND the transition from one note to the next made your ears bleed? Before getting this book, I'd spend hours trying to create something that sounded right, sometimes luck struck. I own it, I love it.
