There's a library fire! What would YOU save?

Forget the people. It's the books you have to save. But you can only carry so many. You have to be selective.  Which books will change your life forever?  Which ones can you not live without?

Intro

Hello. My name is Lewis, and I am very pleased to meet you.

I would like to share with you the favourite books of all the people who have visited this page before you.

These are books that will increase you wealth, your health, and your happiness. They will expand your mind, and they will make you question your ideas. They will help you grow, they will help you learn, and they will help you teach. They will help you write more effectively, and lucidly. They will make you better in arguments, they will make you read faster. They will show you how to sell more, be more, do more, give more, and have more. They will change your beliefs, and they will create new ones. They will, of course, teach you how to think and grow rich. And how to win friends and influence people. And how to unleash your full potential. They will give you the tools to be a Master Memoriser, they will teach you how to read other people's body language, how never to be lied to again, and how to get anybody to do anything.

If you see a library on fire, run in and save these books.

What would you save?

Secrets of the Millionaire Mind

by T. Harv Eker

First up is my top recommended book.

If you read only one of these books, make it Secrets of the Milionaire Mind. Read this book. Read it twice. Read it three times. Once for the content, twice to study it, and third to start implementing what it teaches.

Money changes lives, and it also ruins lives.

You need this book.

I read it in one sitting. Not because it was short, but because it was written in simple terms. It was written as if T. Harv Eker were right there infront of me explaining his concepts.

Make your friends read it (you're my friend, remember?). Make your parents read it. Make your kids read it.

This book changes Financial Lives.

You learn the 17 ways Rich people think differently to Poor people. And the 17 ways are right there on the page in front of you.
T. Harv Eker. The author.
How many of them do you already be/do/have? 1? 2? How embarrassing. You need this book.

The first section of the book is devoted to the story of T Harv Eker, and how he changed his ideas from "this" to "this". Very interesting to read. The second section consists of the 17 ways, and a short riff on each.

The title of this book is absolutely no lie. This book is THE book you need on how the rich got that way, and how the poor got that way.

Imagine taking this phenomenal guy to a pub or bar, and sitting down with him in a corner and listened to him tell you everything he knows about wealth (or rather, wealth from the inside, out) in simple conversational language. Nowhere near as hard to chew on as Think and Grow Rich, no way.

It is very nicely written (in a conversational manner), and I love the hard-hitting no-nonsense lessons right from page 1.

Read this book, then proudly present it to your best friend to read.

You both deserve it.

Probably.

Ps, Chapter 1 is called "Who the heck is T. Harv Eker, and why should I read this book?"

Unlimited Power

by Tony Robbins

Wow!

What a book!

I finished this book recently, and I was/am completely blown away.

This is the only personal development book you'll ever need.

The title is 'Unlimited Power', and the book aims to help you unleash yours.

If you can fog a mirror, then you must have heard of Anthony Robbins.

Tony Robbins. The author.

And if you've heard of him, then you know the man is a living legend.

And if you know the man is a living legend, then you have either read this book... or this is the first time you heard it existed. In which case, buy it now.

"Unlimited Power" is absolutely jam-packed with superb information to help you improve every single aspect of or life.

Think of it this way - Your ability to cope with problems in life is a number from 1 to 10. If you are a 5 and a problem comes along which is a 6, you crumble. Personal growth is about trying to always be above your problems.

This book will get you to 10 by the time you finish it.

I almost didn't buy this book. I was in Sri Lanka at the time, and it was really expensive, in Sri Lankan terms.

I nearly didn't buy this book, and now I would run into a burning library to save it. You will too.

I have read countless self help books and the ones from David J Lieberman astound me as no other books ever have. Most of the self help books are enlightening, motivating and interesting but his books... they turned me upside down and around. He is beyond smart, he is a personality genius. The techniques are so surprising that I laugh out loud when I read them.
If you really want to influence people in a better way, in a way that actually works, read David J. Lieberman's books.

I'd also save "A Course In Miracles". Most of the other books I'd save are fiction. Non-fiction is so redundant. ... It's interesting to see that people who responded here listed books I enjoy - we must be kindred.

Lewis, what a great idea for a lens! If there was a fire, I'd definitely have to save my collection of vintage pregnancy/parenting books (since some of them were passed down to me by my Grandma, and they're the most difficult to replace). Someone needs to invent fire-resistant books.
