Have you ever cast a spell?

    Several times but only after I've tried anything I could humanly do. But nothing too ritualistic for me.
    Nicer to look at but getting into the sphere (harnessing energies and asking for approval) is enough for me.
    I am looking however to see if I can use it on worldly causes as witchcraft tends too be to individual, too selfish. But I find I need so much information that most of the time, I can't perform most of the time and also I feel I'm encountering counter-energies which means I'm not advanced enough or not with enough (in need of a bigger group,say two others:)
    I would like to advance but there's not much around that ables me to move on.

    I have indeed cast a spell..more than one actually. The first spell that i cast was to become invisible, of course I didn't actually become transparent but i found out how i could dress down in such a way and stick close to the wall when i went out as well as doning a hat..so out i went and went unnoticed as the spell intended. It was the beginning of my own magikal path and still works to this day. This is a really nice lens which makes me want to read more 5*****

    Fascinating topic! I love the advice that you give about casting a spell. Harm no one, including yourself fits a lot of aspects of life, doesn't it? Be careful what you ask for....and how you ask are pearls of wisdom.

    I agree with you about doing a "spell check" first. You have to be very clear about what you want or you might get what you asked for but not what you really wanted. I found my current husband on the Internet when I asked for someone who would place me at the top of his priority list (my ex always put his parents there). Well, I got that, but it came with lots of heartache and sadness for me and the kids too.

    I prefer to call them magickal workings because it does take some work and there are way too many love spells, etc out on the net. Magick takes practice just like any other new skill you learn.

    Very important information here, especially the part about not interfering with the free will of others.

    I have never cast a spell but I find Paganism very interesting. I like the Wiccan Rede especially the part that says do what you want but harm no one. That's basically my philosophy in life. I'm all about enjoying life, and everyone should be free to do whatever they like as long as they don't harm others or themselves. Great lens!
