I did my best to cultivate an inner state of peace within myself. I have always remembered when I heard Wayne Dyer say. "a peaceful world is a world full of peaceful people". That just clicks for me :)

great lens! thanks for creating something like this and taking the time to write it. My lens are on cystic fibrosis and getting people aware of it so we can find a cure for this genetic disease. If you would, spread the word on your lens for people to check my lens out to become more aware of it, thanks!

As always I think of my son, who was to have celebrated his 21st birthday on 9-11. While he is doing fine, he never got to celebrate that special day, since those terrible events just took any desire to be happy out of all of us. I also think back to what I was doing on that day, and how the events unfolded, events that few of us could have imagined possible.

I have made a pledge to myself to create a minimum of 1 prayer shawl per month to be given to someone in need: since Jan 1, 2011 I have made 15, 14 of which have (hopefully) provided comfort to the recipients, 1 in reserve for the next person in need, and another in the works. I will also be donating blood on Sept 25th.
