T-Shirts and Gifts for Loved Ones of Sailors Serving on Aircraft Carriers

Soldiers' Angels has many teams and projects so it is easy to find something to support. For their Christmas project this year Soldiers' Angels is raising money to buy nice travel mugs which they will send to a service member along with coffee or hot chocolate. The testimonies of service members who have been recipients say it all:

Soldiers' Angels Soldier Liaison Toby Nunn knows how it feels to receive an SA mug with packets of yummy hot chocolate when you're fighting a war far from home. "It warms your heart. You get to enjoy sweet comfort, just like you when you were a 12-year-old playing with marshmallows. Pure gold," he says. "It might be only two cups of hot chocolate, but it'll be the best two cups you've ever had, because someone cared enough to send it."

"The Angel Bakers are a group of highly dedicated Soldiers' Angels who bake homemade treats for our deployed military heroes.

Each month the Angel Bakers send specially-made cookies, brownies, and other treats to units identified by Soldiers' Angels as needing extra Angel love. They may have been through an especially difficult experience during their deployment, living in especially trying conditions, or in need of a morale boost for a job well done. Our aim is to show our heroes how much people back home appreciate and care about them."

Blankets of Belief- These blankets are a physical reminder that we believe in our service members. They are hand sewn with love by Soldiers' Angels members.

Pennies for Patches- Patches is a teddy bear for the children of fallen service members. It has several round tags on it that express emotions and is meant to help children talk about this event in their lives.

Operation Outreach- Military personnel worry about their loved ones left at home to hold down the fort. This project is primarily for writing letters of support to military families but now and then helps with birthday or holiday gifts. They can also link the family up with local sources of ongoing support.

Project Valour-IT- This project provides adaptive laptops for military personnel who have suffered severe hand wounds or other severe wounds. Hand held GPS devices are available for those suffering from memory loss. Wii whole body video games help with recovery and physical therapy.
