My Himalayan Cat Milo

Ranked #10,859 in Pets & Animals, #281,457 overall

Meet Milo

Milo is my three year old Himalayan cat. He is a mix between Seal Point Himalayan and Tonkinese. So, he has the beautiful long hair of the Himalayan breed, but his nose is not totally flat. Milo may look angry sometimes due to his facial features, but he is one of the most lovable cats I've ever known.

Baby Milo

Milo was one of 5 kittens born to my family's cats Tenzing (Mom) and Jasper (Dad) On October 15, 2007. He had two brothers and two sisters. We gave his brothers and a sister away to some of my mom's co-workers when they were old enough to leave.

Milo and Lola

Milo and LolaI kept Milo and my sister kept the other sister, Lola.
Milo was the biggest out of all the kittens. We nicknamed him "Tubby" before I eventually chose his name. He was also the last to learn how to walk, and we worried that he might have problems with his legs. It turned out that his butt was just too big for his legs to handle! He soon grew into his butt :)

Traveling Cat

When I returned to college in January after his birth, I brought him along with me. We lived together in my one bedroom apartment, and I must say, he was the best roommate I had all through college! I made frequent trips home on the weekend, which were about 2.5 hours each way. I would put him in his pet carrier in the passenger seat and he usually just slept through the whole ride.
He has lived with me in two apartments and three houses and traveled many miles with me. He has done so with little complaint. Few other cats can say that! Milo has been a wonderful companion throughout the years. I couldn't ask for a better pet :)

Milo Likes to Get Down

My boyfriend forcing Milo to dance. He puts up with a lot :)
