Sorry, don't know the answer. I reckon prevention is better than a cure in this instance. Stiletto heels are lethal indoors.

LOL I have four men "in house" (3 boys and the hubby). A favorite lens for me! Creatively written, beautifully laid out and very helpful! Amazing job. :)

Oooh very interesting about the furniture scratches and dents. I have such a problem right now with an old rocker.

As for pet messes, I have no suggestions but I do have a story. My dog has been getting in the birdseed and chicken feed. She came into the house today and threw up a pile of it on the floor. Just a pile of birdseed. WTF DOG?

I'm not sure, not having a dog, but I did find this on Yahoo Answers:

"If it's in fabric, like carpets, curtains, furniture, try a mixture of half vinegar, half water, and scrub it then let it dry. Then spray with a layer of Febreeze.

You won't be able to just Febreeze, because if there are stains in the fabric they will need to be cleaned."

    Any use?

Ok -- may I task you with a tip I really really need? How to remove pet odors and stains from throws and sofas -- the foam seems to hold those forever and bad Bandit the cat is the culprit -- I'm washing the throw at the moment and working on the cushion cover next along with the cushion foam.
