Learn French - A Review of Rocket French

I speak French as a Second Language, and apart from needing Regular Practice myself nowadays, I'm asked frequently by my students for a recommendation when it comes to buying a French Learning Language course.

Ever since Rocket French appeared, I've been sold on it, and cannot recommend it enough to students.  It has an absolutely HUGE amount of very well-produced and presented content.

A very big plus is the more than 3,000 mp3 tracks which can be loaded onto an MP3/MP4 Player and used to further immerse one, when travelling or away from a computer.

I can promise you that if you apply yourself, this is the absolutely best French Language Learning program available for the price.  There's even a Free 1GB MP4 Player available to Rocket your learning, so go and read the full Review

Tips to Quickly Make Progress in Learning a New Language

Learning a New Language requires patience and "stickability" If you put in a regular amount of time and NEVER quit, you must succeed... and here's how to achieve faster...
Immerse... Find a French speaker as soon as possible no matter what your level. There are many avenues to do this over the internet, and the most obvious thing to do is trade languages.
Immerse... Get content for your level of: music, conversations and stories onto an MP3/MP4 Player and listen as much as possible when you have available time - travelling, car, bus, etc., any time away from a computer-based/desk-basd learning system
Immerse... Involve all the senses : hear it, repeat it, see it, act it out
Most of all, old time learning methods of silently listening to audios and reading/written exercises will only result in very slow progress for the average person.
Use the language you're learning at every possible opportunity, never be afraid to open your mouth and try. That kind of person is the one that succeeds the fastest.
