Some of my lenses do great. I have lenses that get over 100 votes and more than 1000 visitors a week. The below are from the opposite end of the spectrum. Hardly any visitors and usually few votes as well.
Just giving them some TLC.
Before and after a septum operation
This lens is a collection of the things I've learned dealing with the medical system and my body all these years. I'm focusing on the post operation part because that's the part where the doctors really don't seem to know what to do.-
How to deal with nose trouble after an operation
-
I've been dealing with breathing issues for several years now. A specialist advised a septum operation because it was apparently not straight, but because it would take ages for the operation to come, and I needed help breathing at that moment, I wen...
Consciousness: an Introduction, by Susan Blackmore
A must read for anybody interested in the science of consciousness. Psychology and neurology have come to a point where they can at least say some things about the topic. This book shares what that something is, and the many questions that are still open for discussion.-
Consciousness: an Introduction, by Susan Blackmore

Fascinating. I bought this book because I first heard of this author as a former parapsychologist. It's always good to read books by those whom you disagree with - but know what they are talking about. Reading it, I find she really does know what she...

Low votes in squidoo should be banned!

I think people should lighten up about the star ratings. Even a low star rating will boost your lensrank (a bit). So any rating is better than NO rating. Disagree? Tell me! [That said: it does anger me when a good lens that hasn't been voted on yet...

- :) I'm an atrocious speller. The only reason it doesn't catch too many eyes is because of the firefox spell checker. But it doesn't work on titles. Anyhow, fixed now.
The SEO reason for lenses like this is that you're giving your lowest ranking lenses some extra backlinks: sometimes that's the one bit they need to suddenly get traffic.
