When people think of Florida one of the top things most people think about is "Golf". Florida has some of the best golf courses in the world. I have golfed in many states but when it comes down to it Florida is my first choice. Florida has over 1,460 golf courses within its shorelines. The cities with the most golf courses like Naples, Fort Myers, and Orlando. In Florida if you are in the panhadle or in the keys you can golf all 12 months of the year

Inverness is located on the East side of Citrus county. Citrus county is about an hour and thirty minuets north of Tampa Florida and about an hour north west of Orlando. Many people have been too or been through Ocala Florida which is only about thirty minuets away to the north east of Inverness..

The City of Inverness is the largest municipality in the County and continues to grow at a managed pace. Residents take pride in being the County Seat of Government and becoming the principal hub for special events, culture and activity. Bordered by forests and lakes, natural resources have been protected and managed to provide a wealth of outdoor opportunities for family enjoyment.

Florida is a wonderful state to live in. Florida offers a great tax base, low cost of living, great weather, and an abundance of activities for both the young and old. Later on in this lens I will share more about the topics I listed above.

My family and I have been connected with Central Florida for over 30 years. We have seen a lot of change in that time, most of it for the good. I have been in government for 4 years now, I want to see future changes for this area only be good positive changes.

The Villages is a large retirement community that is like none other. The Villages span into two counties being Sumter and Marion County in Central Florida. Every where you look you see golf carts running up and down the streets and special golf cart lanes. The Villages surround the town of Lady Lake, between The Villages and Lady Lake you never have a need for anything.

THE FLORIDA GATORS
The Florida Gators are the athletic teams that collectively represent the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. Lady Gators is an alternative often used for the women's teams. The sum of the program and its followers is referred to collectively as the Gator Nation.

All Gator athletic teams compete in the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference, of which they are charter members, in NCAA Division I.

The athletic program is one of the best in the nation and has been arguably the best overall in the SEC for the past two decades. The men's and women's teams have combined to win the Southeastern Conference All-Sports Trophy in every year but one since its inception. The Gators have also been in the top ten of the National All Sports rankings every year for the past two decades.

Fishing the nature coast of Florida is probably my best fishing experience I have ever enjoyed. I have fished Wisconsin, Minnesota, Guatemala, and several areas around Florida. But when it comes down to some of the best fishing I would say that fishing the nature coast is probably the most fantastic. When in Florida come and check out this great piece of paradise.

The last full week of October in Inverness Florida you will find Sunny Cooter along with all his friends, visiting various restaurants in the city for the Miss Cooter and Cooter Idol competitions. The final winners are decided on Friday and Saturday, during the Cooter Blast and Cooter Festival. And on Sunday, Cooterween (a Halloween spook-tacular) rounds out the activities with one of the biggest outdoor costume parties in this neck of the woods.
