Have your ever Gone Fly fishing? I can tell you that the experience is like no other type of fishing you have ever done! Hooking a Large Brown trout with a fly you have made, is quite exciting.

Working your fly up and down the river is a art, helping the fly to drift as if it is out there on its own. Waiting for a strike and the thrill of a huge trout blasting out of the water trying to destroy your fly is something worth every cast of your line, every gentile presentation that lands lightly on the film of the river. It's more exhilarating then your first date, your first kiss.....

Ok, maybe not the first kiss! Close though! You get the picture!

I remember fly-fishing with my Dad a few years back in the Bitteroot river. St Marys snow capped mountain peak rose above us on that warm summer day, we even had our pictures taken by a Ravallie news reporter who was doing a story on fly-fishing that day. Kinda strange to see him, out there and My Dad and I were the only ones on the river that day.

We both were having strikes with a little 1 inch streamer fly my dad made. Kind of a off white body with a feather tail and a little pink underneath the back end. It became my favorite streamer fly.

One time i decided to loan it to my brother-in-law, and he ended up dropping it in the drink.! Well that will teach me! Below is a video of my river as i like to call it, I spent many days on this area of the river seen lots of dear and elk in the woods around there and the house i showed at the opening of this lens is not far away.
