    I sure understand what you mean about begging, it's hard for me to ask for things, but I too am a giver. Now with that said, I must say I missed everyone's lenses about donating to Buck Center but now that I know about this, I will make some of my lenses (the ones that actually earn something) to donate here. Thank you for these stories, and like Cynthia I like to see people that are doing the work get the donations ;)

    Ranked #10 in Pets & Animals, #86 overall .... can I just say WOWSER! I was so thrilled also to see BuckHawk donations on my payout this month *insert huge grin* .... guess who? LOL

    Susan, this is a wonderful lens with a lot of fabulous puppy tales! You know I fell in love with your "Fur-Ever After Tails" a long time ago. I would have to look to be sure, but I think I discovered that first lens when I was a Squid Angel back in March 2010. I don't know why I didn't think to change all of my lenses right then! Sometimes we just need to be told that there is a need. I don't consider it begging, just informing :) I am still laughing too. Every payout day, like yesterday, I see your name and how much (or little) my lenses earned for Buckhawk Center. I am proud of that little donation. Everyone who knows me and knows my lenses, know that I am a firm believer in supporting the ones who are actually doing the work, not just the large, established charities who are so good at begging. Your generous, loving heart speaks volumes! Cheers to Buckhawk,Center "where rescue is a way of life!"

    Susan, not only are you making a difference in the lives of so many 'fur' friends, but the Squidoo Community is banding together to make a difference for the Buckhawk Center. May all your Vet bills be paid 'fur' ever and I see lots of shiny new food bowls and chew toys in your furry future!

    My lens on my dog is new and not making any money yet but I will switch it over to 100% Buckhawk. Oni is a shelter dog and the best puppy ever!

    Aspen and I are happy to switch over her lenses as we find and update them so the percentage donated goes to your wonderful cause, and we're happy to send what is just a small token to someone with a big heart. Wish it could be more...later:-)

    I'm so happy to see the Squidoo community coming together to help. I changed my payment settings so all my lenses give a percentage to BuckHawk and I'll add donations modules as I update my lenses. My lenses may not be enough to pay the bills, but if many lensmasters come together to each do a little bit of good, we can change the world.

    This is a truly beautiful lens that radiates compassion. That is why I have selected my lens, What is Compassion, to have all proceeds go to BuckHawk Animal Rescue. There is also a donations module and link to this page.

    Susan, I am truly impressed by the glorious work you do with animals. I have a couple of lenses that contribute to BuckHawk, but I will be adding more! I will check all my animal related lenses and make sure you get donations from my earnings!

    Well, not that I'm seeing much income on any of my lenses... yet! But Teacup Pets and Tiny Cattle is Yours and I've added a donation module to the lens pointing to Buckhawk Center. WIll post this on FB also -- I've got some doggie friends... :-) You're doing wonderful work, Susan. (Hm... Maybe you could give begging seminars? Very compelling lens.)

    Susan, I wish I had read this sooner. I really thought that you were doing great with things, I'm so sorry that I haven't been keeping up with things there very well. When I can I will make a donation to BuckHawk. I glad that you made this lens and have asked for the extra help. You are a remarkable woman in my book for what you do everyday. All them doggies you get to love are very fortunate.

    I already had 5 of my lenses set for 100% Buckhawk. But since ohcaroline threw down the gauntlet, I'm going to set 5 more to donate to this wonderful charity. You do amazing work and I think this is the most unselfish New Years Resolution I've ever heard of.

    Great lens, I have worked with feral dogs and cats in FL, when I lived there and helped pass a spay / neuter release program in palm beach county. I know the amount of heart and dedication you must have. There should be more like you in this world, Keep up the good work. YOU ROCK!

    You are doing a wonderful job. I have a double dog dare to issue to all Squidoo-ers. I will designate Buckhawk Center as my charity on my Wags lens. If everyone who has a pet lens would designate just one of their lenses as a Buckhawk Center charity...how would that be?

    So here's the double dog dare going out to all pens lens owners. Will you meet the challenge?

    I donated $10 a few minutes ago through your lens. You should see it come through shortly, as it was sent directly from Paypal. I'll give you an update. I may even be able to send $10 per month say the middle of the month. In fact, I'll mark it on my calendar now for February.

    We have to find a way to overcome where people are too embarrassed to donate $1, which most can do, thinking it's too small. They have to remember that if everyone overcame this and even 500 people donated $1 ea, what a precious gift that would be!

    Oh sweetie, I wish I lived there and could help out with all the puppies, and I know we would be the bestest of friends! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking care of these precious gifts, how anyone can mistreat God's greatest gifts to us, I will never know. Anyhow, your lens brought me to tears, and I didnt' even ready it all (you know why LOL). I think most people find asking for donations hard to do, but remember, when it comes from the heart, most of us never consider it begging. Lots of luv dear friend, Kathy

    So far I have designated 50% of puppy love connection and 10% of Interview with the teacup. I have a lenses that is mainly meant to house puppy gift lens series- I'm going to revamp it to support Buckhawk as well. I'll also post ohcaroline's challenge in some appropriate places.

    I will take the double dog dare. For those who don't know what a double dog dare is it's bigger than just a dare. I learned about this type of dare when I lived in TX. Off to decide which lens will get the honor.
