Iguanas ... An Interesting and Unique Pet
If you are looking for an interesting and slightly offbeat pet, an Iguana might be worthy of your consideration.
Several species are actually quite common as pets, especially the Green Iguana in North America. Bear in mind though, that Iguanas can easily grow to six feet long, even in captivity.
When cared for properly they can even be docile, affectionate, litterbox trainable, and even walked on a leash. Such pets are either crèche-raised, or harvested from the wild in Central America and Mexico. The life span of a well-cared-for of pet iguana can be 20 years or more.
The goal of this lens is to give you an idea of what is involved in caring for this unique choice as a pet.

Good lens. Like you said, many people don't realize that they can grow so big (up to 6 feet). Great information on green iguana care.
