Solar Panels Clean Energy

In these recent times where energy cost around the world seams to be going up solar panels can substantially reduce your energy cost. They are also environmentally friendly and they do not emit any harmful gases or leave behind harmful byproducts after they produce electricity from the sun. They are three types of solar panels on the market today. Monocrystalline Solar Panels, Polycrystalline Solar Panels and the newest type amorphous solar panels or thin film solar panels.

Advantages And Disadvantages Of The Different Types Of Solar Panels

The First Type Monocrystalline Solar Panels

type=textMonocrystalline Solar Panels are among the oldest type of solar panels but they are still the most efficient and dependable Solar Panels on the market today. One of these panels gives you more wattage per square foot when compared to the other types. Monocrystalline Solar Panels are a good choice when space is limited and you're looking for a high energy output. They last twenty five years and up. The disadvantage about them are Monocrystalline Solar Panels are more expensive because they are more complex to produce but in turn you get more efficiency for your money. They are fragile when compared to the other types so they must be mounted rigidly. Once the temperature reaches 50 degrees Celsius the panels loses energy output (efficiency) between 12 and 15 percent which is still better than energy output reduction of the Polycrystalline Solar Panels when they reach 50 degrees Celsius or above. These panels are a great long term investment. Below we have some of the best Monocrystalline Solar Panels on the market.

HQRP 50W Mono-crystalline Solar Panel 50 Watt 12 Volt in Anodized Aluminum Frame plus HQRP Mousepad

HQRP 20W Mono-crystalline Solar Panel 20 Watt 12 Volt in Anodized Aluminum Frame plus HQRP Mousepad

Polycrystalline Solar Panels

type=textPolycrystalline Solar Panels advantages are they are a lot cheaper and more affordable when compared to Monocrystalline Solar Panels because they are simpler to produce. They are more suited for people that are on a budget but still want a pretty good energy output from their panels. Polycrystalline Solar Panels are also the most common type of solar panel on the market. They are dependable and the also last long. The disadvantages are Polycrystalline Solar Panels are they are not as efficient as Monocrystalline Solar Panels, they don't give you as much wattage per square foot when compared to Monocrystalline Solar Panels and their efficiency decrees more over 50 degrees Celsius when also compared to a Monocrystalline Solar Panel. Polycrystalline Solar Panels are still a good solar panel and if you cant afford a Monocrystalline Solar Panel this is the next best thing. Below we have some of the best Polycrystalline Solar Panels on the market.

Sunforce 39810 80-Watt High-Efficiency Polycrystalline Solar Panel Module

Amorphous Solar Panels

Thin Film Solar Panels

type=textAmorphous solar panels or thin film solar panels is the newest type of solar panels. They are also allot cheaper and stronger when compared to mono and Polycrystalline Solar Panels. Amorphous solar panels are not ridged like Monocrystalline and Polycrystalline Solar Panels. The more popular type is made with flexible laminate which makes it more versatile. They can be applied to almost any surface. The best thing about amorphous solar panels is that the energy output does not decrease when the temperature increases when compared to Monocrystalline and Polycrystalline Solar Panels. This makes this panel extremely good for places that have very hot conditions. The disadvantages are Amorphous solar panels not as efficient at the other two types. They are over 40% less efficient and you will need at least twice as much of Amorphous solar panels to get the same output as Monocrystalline Solar Panels and Polycrystalline Solar Panels. How long they last is not really known because they are a fairly new technology. Below we have some of the best Amorphous Solar Panels on the market.

Great Lens! i really don't see the disadvantage of Solar panels dude. I am using solar panels in a year and it really gives me enough savings. cutting the cost of my monthly electric bills. I highly recommend the use of solar panel. forget all the negative rumors about it. Thanks for sharing anyways.
