My son's favorite plush toy Quack

Ranked #12,301 in Hobbies, Games & Toys, #174,905 overall

Meet Quack!

We don't have pets in our house. Lots and lots of household plants, but no animals. For various reason, my allergies being one of them. So my 3 years old son has his own plush menagerie. Menagerie that includes a singing whale, a cotton legged rabbit, a blue horse (seriously! i don't make this up), a regular looking giraffe, some very old sheeps that really need to be shaved....AND...QUACK! Quack, contrary to what you may think, is not a duck but a goose. And he is my son's favorite.

Quack was born in Lana's Organic farm

Lana Organic

Quack is not Chinese! He was born in Europe, in Lana's Organic farm. This farm keeps many species of well fed, natural and free animals. Quack cost us more than a Chinese goose would have, but we don't regret having adopted him.

We went back to the farm many times and have adopted the singing whale and a rabbit. We will certainly be back again later when my son's little brother or sister arrives.

Why did we called this goose Quack?

For a long time, us, stupid human, thought Quack was a duck! So the name Quack. Plus it was easy for our son to remember!

But one day, Quack, mad at us (because we forgot him in the car during a week end at the mountain) wanted to get back at us and decided it was time to admit that it was in fact a goose....not a duck. But it was too late to change its name!

My son really likes his Quack!

Goose Lana organics

My son did chew on Quack's beak quite a lot when he was a small boy, but Quack is very strong! As I said earlier, Quack was not born in China, so he resist everything! Plus every night the little boy and Quack comfort each other. During the day, Quack is the keeper of the pacifier just to be sure, someone could steel the pacifier and we would have a real drama!

Quacks follow my son every time we go camping or leave for more than a day. Quack love to travel, he has made already 3 plane trips and have seen the French Alps, The Bretagne region with the ocean, some parts of Canada and much more.

Quack: The keeper of the pacifier

What Quack would really like

Quack has been bothering us for almost 3 years now, asking me (yes I am still the master of this menagerie, to the displeasure of Quack) to adopt his best half: the blue goose. I made a promise to Quack that if he manage to make my son stop using his pacifier at night his wish will be granted.

Quack and his human friend

They are inseparable! Quack check everything my son's do and eat. That's why I get so busy in the kitchen, I cannot feed junk too often or quack will bite my behind! When my son plays in the living room, Quack keep watch hidden in our jungle of plants...just in case!

I love Quack and this is a lovely creative page. Now, is Quack going on a world tour? Houston is a great place for duck or goose--for a time. When I saw the title of your page it brought back memories of an Easter where two little duckies came to live--live ones. I named the Wiggles and Waggles. They were so cool but I think eventually they got to be too much. :) But to this day I love to see little ducklings.

Quack is adorable - I know my little girl would love one of these. Perhaps she'd better post a letter to Santa.

I know a few bossy Quacks already, however, I LOVE your son's little friend Quack. Wonder if Quack would guard my plants so that my cat doesn't chew on the leaves? Thanks for sharing this wonderful little friend with us.

I like the idea of a bossy Quack to leave around to make a point when I don't like to. Cute lens.

Unfortunately we were not able to adopt a Quackers when my son was born. Instead we got Teddy. He's still around. He went everywhere (and I do mean EVERYWHERE) for the first 5 years but now stays home and only sleeps in the 8 year olds arms at nights. Although lately I have been finding Teddy on the floor in the morning. I wonder why.....

Quack is definitely very distinct looking. I had to check out this lens because my grandson had an addiction to a stuffed duck that grandma has....ours quacks though so he goes around the house quacking the duck. Helps me know where he is...lol. Have a wonderful New Year. Best wishes.
