The Best TV Shows With Memorable Cars

You can't deny it! You know you watched at least one of these shows. There was a show that captured your attention as a child and you loved it. You watched it every week and hit your brother when he tried to change the channel. It was the one day a week you made sure to finish your homework so you could watch it without interruption. Don't be shy...we ALL have a favorite show!

Starting Out With Number 1...

Dukes Of Hazzard General Lee

My favorite TV show of all time was "Dukes Of Hazard." I used to watch it every Saturday morning. It featured a 1969 Dodge Charger (The General Lee) that was bright orange with the Confederate flag on the roof. This was a great show with a similar problem every week that always got solved by the dukes (Bo and Luke) involving Daisy getting kidnapped and a car chase with various stunts and jumps. It was just fun to watch and get lost in another world where a cool car could make some pretty big jumps and come out unscathed on the other side.

What Started All Of The Creative Cookie Ideas?
Cookies are cookies, right? Not to me. When you eat a cookie, you look for a specific flavor, texture and softness. It is very common to get the perfect combination of these in a chocolate chip cookie, but peanut butter cookies have been eluding me for decades.

And In 2nd Place...

Knight Rider

We watched "Knight Rider" every night with David Hasselhoff. This TV show featured 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am that had been transformed into a super car. The basis of this show was about a dying millionaire who rescued a cop who had been shot in the face and received plastic surgery. He now had a new face and a new identity to fight criminals using this super car provided by the millionaire. Micheal Knight became the Knight Rider using KITT (Knight Industries Two Thousand) who had a personality all his own, could talk, had flame throwers, could drive at speeds near 300 mph and many other things.

This show also had a basis of a problem that would have to be solved which always led to some kind of car chase, KITT using one of his weapons, and officer Micheal Knight capturing the bad guy. It was a cool show and I wish it was still on.

3rd Place Is Held By...

The A-Team

We also watched the "A-Team" every week. Who wouldn't think a 1983 GMC Vandura G-1500 all decked out with that cool paint job and chase scenes wasn't awesome? It was great with the different characters and the problems that came up. The basis for this popular TV show that ran from 1983 to 1987 was about 4 Vietnam vets who were framed for robbing a bank and work to clear their names by fighting crimes and running from the military. I always enjoyed watching the creativity they used to capture the bad guys using some sort of contraption that was designed by Murdock (a certified lunatic) and watching all of the explosions that went along with them. It was a cool show for a kid in the 80's.

My 4th Place...

Startsy and Hutch

I loved watching "Starsky and Hutch" with the 1974 Ford Gran Torino in the hot red. The chase scenes and all the trouble they would find themselves in made the show worth watching. Of course, following them along as they solved crimes was well worth the entertainment. Although, their private lives getting in the mix of their drug busting undercover cop routines gave it a great twist as well.

Finally...

Miami Vice

The famed "Miami Vice" was great to watch. The two cops, Crockett and Tubbs, were another drug busting cop duo with personal lives getting twisted into their jobs. Crockett lived in a boat and had an alligator named Elvis while Tubbs was on a personal mission to find who killed his brother. I mean, come on, who doesn't like Don Johnson? At least they got to drive around in a 1972 Ferrari 365 GTS/4. What a cool way to do your job.

Many from scratch cookies are offered and currently there are about 40 flavors to choose from.
