My 10 favorite movies from the 80s
that are still very enjoyable today. These are my favorite 80s movies, mostly from when I was growing up in the 80s. Many wonder why I left a certain movie off my list and my answer is there are so many good movies from the 80s and it's hard to have a list of only 10. You can also make your own list of favorite 80s movies on Squidoo if you disagree.I like to rent 80s movies on Netflix as there are still some I have not seen. Netflix has a lot of 80s movies you can watch instantly over the internet as well, my favorite feature of Netflix. :)

The Karate Kid was awesome! Mr. Miyagi was very cool and mysterious getting Daniel to do chores that taught him Karate. I was very sad when I learned that Pat Morita, the actor who plays Mr. Miyagi passed away in 2005. This movie inspired me to take Karate lessons, however I did not get past orange belt.
