My top ten anime series
Everyone who watch's Japanese Anime has a show or series that is their favorite. I however, have more than one favorite Anime. Usually naming all of my favorite Anime shows would take forever. So therefore, I decide to list only ten of my most favorite Anime series that I have watched over the past years and has grown to watch over and over again. So with that being said, here's the list and a short synopsis to go with it.
Let's start of with number 10 and going down to 1.

Number 10- Ninja Scroll

A wondering Ninja by the name of Jubei is caught in a battle against the forces of evil that threatens to destroy the current raining Shogunate. But when he discovers that an old arch-rival is leading the enemy. Jubei is determine to stop them at all cost.
Note: Ninja Action at its best in the world of Anime.
Note: A anime movie that was a one shot film. But 12 years later got it's own animated series in 2003. Check it out.
Number 9- Mobile Suit Gundam Wing- aired 2000

Mobile Suit Gundam Wing- aired 2000When the corrupt Oz organization takes over earths colonies. It's up the job five young men and their Gundam robots to stop the oppressors.
Note: Gundam is a classic series that been around a long time. Check out the old school series too.

Escaflowne- Aired in Japan 1996Hitomi is your typical high school girl till the necklace that her grandmother gave her started to glow and teleported her into another planet known as Gaea? Where things really start to get interesting for her. Oh and I think were not on earth anymore.

Bubblegum Crisis- On to VHS in 1987 and then on to DVD.In the year 2033 a powerful corporation know as Genom is using robots known as Boomers to terrorize the people of Mega Tokyo. Four Female Warriors in Armor suits do battle with these renegade robots. They are the Knight Sabers.
Note: Cyber Punk anime at it's best.
Note: Look For the Remake, aka Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040.

Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040- released on 1998In the year 2040 Megalo City is built over Tokyo, large laboring mechanized Androids know as Boomers work as labors and perform varies task for their human masters. Till all of a sudden they go berserk and go on a rampage. The Police force is no match for these rogue robots. Who are you gonna call, the Knight Sabers of course.
Note: Similar storyline to the original, but characters are redrawn and the story is revitalize with a new twist. A awesome Anime Series to watch.
Number 5- Sailor Moon

Sailor Moon-Aired on American TV on Fall of 1995Poor high school girl Serena is your typical clumsy girl,(don't be fooled),. All that changed when a talking cat with a lunar star upon it's forehead appeared before her and spoke to her telling her she's no normal human being. Now the evil Queen Beryl and her minions wants her dead. And you thought Sho Fuckamachi from Guyver had it tough.

Ghost in the Shell- Movie on to VHS 1995 then Later on to DVDMajor Motoko Kusanagi and her team from Section 9 a internet police force are on the move to hunt down an extremely dangerous hacker know as the Puppet Master. Who has left a strain of cyber attacks on computers and humanoid people.
Note: This Anime, was a one shot film based on the Manga bearing the same name but later,( a decade later I should say), became a animated TV series and aired in Japan and in USA.
Number 3- Neon Genesis Evangleion
Neon Genesis Evangleion
In the near future Mankind is on the brink of extermination. Alien life forms ascending from the sky known as Angels are bent on destroying mankind. The only ones capable of stopping these monsters is a secret organization known as NERV and their group of young pilots who operate large Mechanize robots known as the EVA.
Note: After watching the entire 26 episodes, watch the movies and then watch the newer movies that came out. Then decide for yourself.
Number 2- Ronin Warriors

Ronin Warriors- Aired on American Television on Summer of 1995Century's ago the evil warlord Talpa was bent on world domination when a lone warrior known as the Ancient One defeated Talpa and cast him into the neither realms. Now Talpa has return and is determine to finish what he started century's ago. The only ones that can stop him is five legendary warriors bearing five mystical samurai armor's. They are the Ronin Warriors.
Can the Ronin Warriors defeat Talpa and drive him back into the neither Realm or is earth finally doom.
Note: Cult Classic all the way.
Number 1- Guyver OAV
Guyver OAV
Guyver OAV 1989-1992Sho Fukamachi is your ordinary high school student till one day he stumbles upon an alien weapon know as the guyver, were it merges with him and takes form as the hero Guyver 1. Now the corporation known as Chronos wants the Guyver unit back and will stop it nothing to get it back. Can Sho defeat Chronos army of mutant monsters the Zoanoids and save his friends.
Note: a 26 episode remake came out a couple years back some were around 2007-2008. See the OAV first before watching the new series.
Note: Their was a one shot remake called Guyver: Out of Control. Tragically thanks to the Age of DVD, this one shot only made through as a VHS, and tragically never made it to DVD.
Final thought?
