In my future, I see my new house completed and my family and me moving into it. I see my manuscript being published and making it to the best seller list. I see not having to be concerned about finances ever again; having enough money to do all the things we enjoy in life. I see my son graduating from college and building a career of his choice. He will become a famous artist. I also see my husband retiring from construction and being able to do more of what he enjoys spending his time doing. I see all of these things in my future. I am one who gets what she wants.

My first reaction was to be grateful for my life and all those who helped my mother and I in that horrible situation. My second reaction was why did this happen? I lost my car at a time where I have no extra money and definitely do not want a car payment. My wreck was paid for. However, I had resigned myself to the thought that everything happens for a reason, whether I know what that reason is or not.



On Friday I got my insurance check for the accident. It was a lot less than a new car, but I was happy to get it. Yesterday, my husband and I went to town to look for a car for me. All the way there, I kept thinking (knowing) that I was going to find what I wanted. I kept telling myself this: I will find a car that I fall in love with. It will have a 5spd. transmission and it will cost less than $5000.



As we neared Montrose, my husband spied a white Subaru in a consignment lot. I asked him how much it was, and he said $5000. We pulled into the lot and looked at the car. It was the exact same car that I had wrecked except... it was a five speed and it is white. (not blue) We test drove the car, and I fell in love with it.



I bought the car and paid less than $5000 for it, and drove it home. (I made him a cash deal.)



I knew in my heart that I would find the right car for me. I visualized myself driving home in my new car. I got excited about finding a new car. Then, there it was. I didn't even look at any others.



The icing on the cake is this... I like this car better than the one I wrecked. I smiled all the way home (two hours). I felt like a little kid with a new toy on Christmas.

Let's talk about the Law of Attraction. There are so many who embrace the Law, yet there are so many who do not understand it. Some people think that the concept of manifesting destiny is a selfish dream, but it is not.



Those who truly understand the Law, understand that the universe is abundant, and that we, as human beings, can have whatever we desire if we practice the truths of the Law.



There is nothing wrong with wanting more out of life, and there is nothing stopping anyone from attaining all they want, except themselves.


The world does not owe anyone anything, but the universe is ready and waiting to fulfill the desires of everyone, who chooses to work with the Law.



There are certain practices that those wanting more must apply to their desires, in order to achieve them. These things are:

1. Be grateful for what you already have. Practice gratitude daily.


2. Maintain the vision of your desire in your mind.


3. Believe that you will, or already have it.


4. Be ready to receive it.


5. Take the steps required to receive it.

Give to others, so that they may experience abundance in their lives.




Following my recent car accident, I manifested a new car for myself. How did I do this? It was really quite simple, but let me give you some background first.



The car that I wrecked was worth $20,000 brand new, 10 years ago. I was worried about how I would replace that car, since the insurance pay out was only a bit more than a quarter of that amount.



Rather than dwelling on that thought, as we, my husband and I, drove to town to shop for another car, I sat in the truck getting excited about a new car. I repeatedly told myself that I would find a car that I would absolutely fall in love with, with a 5 speed transmission for less than the $5,000 I had to spend. I believed I would find my heart's desire that day. And, I did!



The first car I looked at I drove home that afternoon. Here is the real kicker... It was the same make, model and year of the car I'd just wrecked, but it had a 5 speed transmission rather than an automatic, and it was less than $5,000.00.



That car was the only car I looked at and after test driving it, I bought it. I got to spend the rest of the day with friends, rather than hopping from car lot to car lot, in search of the object of my desire.



Did I feel that I was owed something? No, of course not. I just knew what I wanted and believed that I would have it. The universe granted my wish.



The thing that a lot of people seem to misunderstand about the Law is that it is at work 100% of the time, for good or ill, depending upon what you think about. Each and everyone of us manifests everything that comes our way in life. EVERYTHING. That is why we must pay careful attention to what it is that we think about and focus on.



When I would sit and worry about money, I had none. When I was about to lose my home, rather than sitting around feeling sorry for myself, which I did in the beginning, out of fear, I shifted my thoughts to keeping my house, and lo and behold, the universe provided me with the answer. My husband and I found a way to save our home and build a new one at the same time. We will be moving into our new home soon.



Once I stopped focusing on all of the negative aspects that I perceived were in my way to achieving my goals, my goals began to be met. It is true that we are what we think about, and I am a happy person because I CHOOSE TO BE.



I am grateful for all that I have and for the knowledge that all I desire is mine.



We must take responsibility for the things we think, so that we may take responsibility for our lives. Life is what we make it, not what someone else makes it for us.



So, let's get manifesting!
