I've been told that parenting is a full time job. So those of you who are stay at home mom's, we do have important jobs. We change the majority of the diapers, we have to do laundry, vacuum or sweep, mop the floor. Make breakfast, lunch, dinner, get everyone up in the morning and ready for bed at night. We have to take the kids to the doctor and get what ever meds are needed. We have to take care of them when they are sick. We get to watch them when they are playing in the mud and wash the off later. Watch them swinging from tree branches and kicking a soccer ball around they yard. Or chasing the cat around and up a tree. Occasionally we find ourselves with a child that likes to help with chores, even if he does spill half of the dog food out of the bowl before the dog gets to it.
I used to be jealous of my sister, my brother and his wife. My husband and I were married for five years and had tried for a baby ever since. I had a miscarriage right before our wedding. I am a little over weight but back then I was very over weight. I weighted almost 300 lbs. Before our first son was born I had made it down to 215 lbs. Then i got pregnant with our son Connor. I went back up to 253 lbs but went right back down to 230 after he was born, then came my second son and I went back to 256lbs. I lost all of that again after Caelan was born and was back to 235 lbs. I don't worry so much about my weight, my kids help me stay in better shape than I have ever been in. I still have a few pounds to lose again but I will lose it. My kids are the apple of my eye. They make me laugh more than any comedy out there. They are cuter than any thing I have ever seen and they show me how much they love me. Though they are so young the know what love is and that is the best thing in the world. I never knew I could love someone so much before in my whole life but I love those two more than anything in the world.
