What is your favorite GTA game?

Why am I so excited about this Grand Theft Auto V?
Pre-Order GTA 5
GTA 5 is the most realistic GTA game to date. Another thing that boosts my anticipation is the fact that it takes place in the PRESENT DAY California! Non of the other games had a modern day feel. The game also reflects economics times as you can see with this screen shot of a man posting a forclosure sign. It is sure to be fun, packed with respectable visuals, simple gameplay, an elaborate story line, action, drama and many other jewels that will keep you entertained for months.
Exterminators have silenced automatic assault rifles!
Kicking in the door!
Modern day street hustlers!
The first thing I noticed in GTA 5!
Modern Automobiles
The first thing I noticed in GTA 5 is the beautiful modern automobiles. Of course, the names of the vehicles are different, but the shapes and qualities reassure you that "This is the Range Rover" or " This must be a Porche". The screen shot shows a car sporting a convertible hard-top. I'm sure this edition will have the diverse selection of toys to steal. The previous versions introduced the cars, suv's, motorcycles, dirtbikes, atv's, planes, and boats. In GTA 5 their will be buses, jet ski's, and maybe even electric cars. Who knows?
Modern cars and fashion!!

The GTA 5 Enviornment
The GTA 5 enviornment, Los Santos, California, is crammed with details that make the city come alive. You can see the dirt on the walls, dumpters, discarded cardboard boxes, trash blowing, old posters on the wall ripped and dirty, and air conditioners hanging out of windows. The street signs and lights have had a major upgrade, and in GTA 5 they've even included construction on the street. Let em work, let em live. There are beautiful palm trees, beaches and country sides. There are even fully functional oil refineries, cranes and all. Modern day masions look....stunning beyond words.
Mansions that sit on mountain cliffs!
Realistic, detailed environment that sucks you in!!
GTA 5 Civilians
The people in the game dress and act like we do today. I think of it as The Sims rated R with missions. Modern day hustlers are posted on the "block", or street corners. People are jogging by the beach trying to get or stay healthy, exersizing, begging, climbing mountains, working, golfing, farming, and walking their dogs like normal people.
Rock Climbing!?!?

Will work for food!

Grand Theft Auto IV (GTA 4)

Grand Theft Auto IV was, and is, a great game. The protagonist of the game is Niko Bellic, an illegal immigrant who finds himself in Liberty City. He is the best protagonist in the GTA series by far and, unlike his predecessors, seems to have a concious.
The game takes place in Liberty City like GTA III, but this one has little resemblance to its counterpart, and is a lot more lively and realistic.
You will find a diverse population of civilians going about their daily lives, seemingly unaware of the crimes taking place in the city's underworld.
The game sports an innovative, non linear and lengthy story line in addition to feature stuffed multiplayer modes.
The GTA 4 starts when Niko gets off the boat in Liberty City to find that his cousin Roman has accumilated life threatning gambling debts, and needs his help. After that he becomes a freelance killer as he has previous military experience.
The cool thing about this game is you have the flexiblity of making decisions instead of blindly following instructions. For example you can be hired to kill someone, and if they promise to disappear you may decide to let them live. Of course in doing this you run the risk of your employer finding out, but you'll find that some people you let live can help you later in the game. Some of them may even have jobs for you. In GTA IV every decision has consequences. It would be wise to play the game more than once to discover alternative stories.
The game can be beaten in less than 30 hours there are so many options and side missions your fun will be greatly extended. Most missions consist of killing or making deliveries. Niko is a very efficient killer. In fact, he's the best in the series because he has military experience. Some more unique missions include a bank robbery, kidnapping, and a job interview. The characters sport premium animation, elaborate voice work, and detailed facial expressions. They may make you upset when they cause you to fail missions though. For example, they may not follow you during escort missions, or fail to negotiate a doorway. These setbacks, however, are few and far apart. Besides, the new "replay mission" option takes some weight off these mishaps.
This addition to the GTA series introduced the main character, Niko, with some new abilities like scaling fences and walls, scurrying along edges, and taking cover which helps tremendously when engaging in a gun fight. They also introduced a new targeting system that allows you to lock on to targets even when they're taking cover. Its default is set to target the body, but you can use the right analog to switch to the head for a headshot.
The police play a significant role in the game as they do with the previous releases, but they are not nearly as tough. They don't drive as fast, and rarely set up roadblocks. Also, you have to really cause some trouble before the "FIB" gets involved. The game equipts you with a gps that tells you exactly where the police are located. It also highlights the search area. In order to escape you must stay outside of the highlighted area for 10 seconds, which can be a little too easy if your wanted level isn't too high.
There is an abundant list of things to do in Liberty City in addition to missions, racing in street races, stealing cars for order, and causing random mayhem. Some activities may help you later in the game, some just kill time and display the humor woven into the game. You'll find your self watching T.V., listening to the many radio shows, or at Cabaret and comedy clubs that commission some big name acts. You can also surf an in game internet.
A lot of the sites you find are sites you wouldn't let someone catch you searching in real life. Some of the sites may only be found by clicking on spam, others are predominently listed on the search engine page. Amuse yourself at the internet cafe. One of the more popular sites is an online dating site where you can find women to date if you want. Friends can be demanding at times however. To keep them happy you have to spend time with them and do things they enjoy just like in real life. They all have different personalities too. Some like to bowl, or play pool and darts. Others prefer going out to eat, get drunk, or see a show. Dates are generally more demanding than regular friends. It's not just about picking them up on time or where you take them anymore. There are other components that influence their opinion of you like your car, the way you drive, and how you dress. They even notice when you've worn the same outfit two days straight, although most won't mind. Accumilating friends has it's benefits. A lawyer friend may be able to help out with the cops, and a nurse may turn out to be a real life saver.
In GTA IV you keep in touch with friends, and enemies with a cell phone. It's very easy to use. You control it using the D pad and one button. The conversation system is simple as well. Just choose who you want to call and a topic and make the call. Incoming calls are just as easy to manage. The call can interfere with the radio, but you won't focus on that if a date calls whil your with a prostitute or in a gun fight. You can also buy ringtones and visual themes using the in game internet.
When you steal a parked car most likely the door will be locked. Then Niko will smash the window with his elbow or foot. He may even need to hotwire the car, and you'll see the lights flash and hear the horn blowing. Be careful not to be seen by police when this happens. When your stealing cars and people are in them be careful not to get your arm caught in the window as they try to drive off.
The driving is very flexible in this game just like the previous GTA's. Make u-turns like an action movie and bend the corners skidding and leaving marks. You can drive like you're insane if you like, but take car not to hit the police and pedestrians. The camera is positioned to give you an over the shoulder view, and in more sporty vehicles it gets lower for a better perspective while speeding.
Another thing common in GTA is the fact that when you drive certain vehicles, you see lots of them throughout the city.
The online multiplayer system is simple to operate. Just choose multiplayer in your cell, choose which type of game you would like to host or join, and enter a lobby where the game begins. Players are free to do anything they like, and there are plenty of weapons scattered all over the place.
There are more that a dozen multiplayer modes at your disposal. The person hosting the game may customize friendly fire, police presence, weapons sets, traffic level, radar functionality, and many more adjustments. The host may also have the game reserved for a designated area of Liberty City.
16 player multiplayer modes include deathmatch and race, and is unlike anything you've experienced. It even has objective based games that require you to complete missions like cops and crooks mode where players fight over turf, carjacking mode, and many others. In multiplayer mode the passenger in a vehicle can mark waypoints on the gps to inform the driver about the locations of players and objectives.
There aren't too many differences between gameplay whether you're on the X Box 360 or PS3. The PS3 version requires a mandatory install that takes about 10 min, and it makes load time shorter and less frequent. The visual quality is about the same. Also, the audio quality is good and there are plenty of licensed songs to groove to. Unlike other games, there are no annoying popups about artist and song information. If you want to know this stuff you can dial up a song recognition service on your in game cell, which is convenient.
GTA IV is a must play type of game. Even after you complete all of the missions, there is still plenty of things to do. This is the best game of the series thus far.
