Meet Pica!
Pica is a gorgeous Black cat. He is 11 years old but still acts like a playful kitten.
He is one of a litter of 3 and we have known him since the day he was born
He is all over black with a little beard of white on his chest. I love how black cats look brown in the sunlight.

About Me - Jembie
I am into my forties now. I was married but widowed at 25.Now my family consists of Me, My daughter Bill who is currently at University, My son Bret who is currently in college and our 3 cats. Pica aged 11, Ronno aged 3 and his sister Miney also aged 3.
By Day I work hard as a civil servant, by night I watch TV, write blogs, and make designs to sell in my cafepress store.
At weekends I like to support my favourite Football team Derby County - The Rams.

From the day he was born
My sister had a gorgeous black cat called Pepsi. One day she gave birth to 3 identical black kittens. 2 boys and a girl.Not long after they were born my sister had to move house so Pepsi and her babies came to live with me.
I couldn't keep all the kittens so my other sister chose to take one of the boys and my friend Brian took the little girl. So the choice was made and the last little boy would stay with us.
POKEMON
We have always had full family involvement in choosing names for our pets. Choosing a name for Pica was easy. Back in the early noughties, the big think was Pokemon and the favourite Pokemon character in our house was Pikachu so we named our little kitty Pica after that little fluffy yellow Hamster :D Pica's favourite game
Pica does this really cool thing where he jumps up to your hand.You hold your hand above his head and wiggle your fingers. He will sit there for a while watching as if he is calculating how high he has to jump. Then just when you are about to give up he jumps up and nudges your hand with his nose. Then he'll lie down on the floor for you to rub his belly

Pica's favourite toy
When no one is looking, Pica loves to play with these little mice. He will bat them around and throw them in the air and catch them. As soon as anybody looks at him though or speaks to him he will run off the opposite way or just lie there and look uninterested.

These little mice might not look much but they sure do give My cat hours of joy.
The one thing I love about Pica is...
...that even though he is a senior cat now at the age of 11 Human years old, He still has the mind of a kitten and loves to run around and play.
Pica's Favourite place to be
This isn't exactly like the one we have ar home but Pica loves to be the King of the house on top of our Kitty play centre

- It was fun to read how you named your cat. Our Chiranian puppy was named Ally - because she almost got eaten by an alligator on the first day we got her. Nicely done and blessed! :)

- Hi we have two cats, a black cat named Bambie and a black and white cat name Gerri. Haven't had any bad luck having these two cats.

- Pica is adorable and I love the fact he was named after a pokemon character seeing as I also love Nintendo games! We used to have a black cat called Jazz who sadly got run over when he was just 1. He used to come and wake me up every morning. We now have a rescue cat called Fizz who has to stay indoors. But I still think about my Jazz even though he's been gone about 8 years.
