Paintball - My Experience

As a not so perfect person I can never claim to know everything about paintball. As a paintball field and pro-shop owner for the past 15 years I can tell you I've learned a lot about the game and the people who play it.

Listed here are some of the things I have learned about paintball that might help the curious. If you have played for awhile and can admit like me that we can never know everything you might want to take a look and see if you can find something new.

Paintball Ettiquette for Everyone: Are you thinking about trying paintball for the first time? Don't be intimidated. Or maybe you're an experienced player going to a new field. Be sure to put your best foot forward. Here are some basic etiquette tips that will have you looking and acting like a pro. Thanks for stopping by.
The Best Rec-Ball Paintball Gun: There are as many ideas about what is the best paintball gun as there are paintball guns. Should you get a "starter" gun or go for the big buck tourney ready electro? Is one brand better than another? Is one company better than another? What about reliability? Let me let you in on my 15 years of experience.
Paintballers - Don't fear the rental gun.: I'm here to tell you - "Don't fear the rental!" A rental gun will get you in the game. For you first time players it's usually the first paintball gun you will shoot. Here are a few tips to help make the experience a good one.

Equipment and reviews

Tippmann 98 Custom 98 Platnam Series: Tippmann is about tradition. They find an idea and stay with it. For them to come out with a "new" and "improved" version of one of their markers is quite a step.
Kingman Spyder Xtra: There are many paintball makers that claim they have the "best starter gun". For my money the Spyder Xtra is a great way to go.
Everything Tippmann: The Tippmann Model 98 made its debut at the 1998 International Open at Three River's Paintball in Pennsylvania.
