The Truth About Building Muscle

Book Review by Denny Waldarmo

Book link

It's the hottest bodybuilding book on the Internet ... but is it any good?

I started getting so many inquiries from people asking me for my professional opinion of Sean Nalewanyj's The Truth About Building Muscle, that I decided to take a long, hard look.

Now I can say it: I hate Sean Nalewanyj.

OK, not really. But I should hate him.

If everyone bought this program--and followed Sean's advice to the letter--you would certainly be seeing a lot more great physiques all around.

ClickAnd people wouldn't need to pay me, a professional fitness trainer, to tell them how to get that ripped, muscular look.

Sean's program is available as a downloadable e-book containing 250 info-packed pages explaining the entire muscle-building process, step-by-step. Every word is spot-on, too. There's no hype, false claims or questionable advice.

The AdSense Code

Book Review by H. Tim Sevets

AdSense is one of the easiest ways for the Internet marketing newbie to start making some online income. It is also one of the hardest ways to make a lot of money.

Joel Comm is an acknowledged authority on AdSense, having built an online empire of web pages that provide him with an ongoing living, and a quite comfortable one at that, largely through the income he earns from ad clicks.

According to Comm, there are some people who receive checks each month from Google in the $10,000 range, while untold numbers of others are regularly generating significant extra income with AdSense.

The AdSense Code covers all the basics of this fascinating but often frustrating income niche, and then some. Before you paste your first AdSense block on your first web page, you need to read this book. Even if you're an AdSense veteran, you stand to pick up a new trick or two you hadn't thought of before.

America's Most Wanted Recipes

Book Review by Sarah Sandori

Book link

Make your favorite restaurant dishes at home? Amaze friends, family--and even yourself--while saving scads of money?

That's what the ad for the downloadable ebook, America's Most Wanted Recipes, claimed. So I dowloaded it, whipped up one of my favorites -- the Bloomin' Onion from Outback Steakhouse -- then started going through the e-book and making other restaurant-based dishes, too.

"Benihana" hibachi steak. "Chili's" baby back ribs. "KFC" fried chicken. "Olive Garden" lasagna and breadsticks. "Applebee's" tequila lime chicken. Even cinnamon scones like the kind you can get at Starbucks to munch with your coffee.

I've seen other cookbooks that claim to tell you how to duplicate these and other secret recipes from the most popular restaurants and chains in America. Based on my own kitchen tests, America's Most Wanted Recipes is the only one that lives up to its promise, recipe after recipe.

I don't know how the author, Ron Douglas, got hold of these recipes. Frankly, I don't need to know. All I care about is that he has assembled a huge compendium of recipes for dishes that you would swear had been cooked up in the kitchen of your favorite restaurant.

The Mystic Path to Cosmic Power

Book Review by H. Tim Sevets

Vernon Howard was one of the top authors on mind power and spiritual self-help of the mid to late 20th century.

My favorite of his books is The Mystic Path to Cosmic Power.

The book offers a wealth of practical suggestions for waking up (spiritually speaking), feeling great every minute of one's life, curing fear and tension, becoming an entirely new person, smashing barriers and speeding ahead toward achieving one's true goals.

The Mystic Path to Cosmic Power was first published in 1967. Still in print, it is as fresh and as powerful today as it was then. If you decide to seek out and read only one of Vernon Howard's books, make it this one.

H. Tim Sevets is books editor for the Solid Gold Info Writers Consortium, where he specializes in objective reviews of the top money-making reports available over the Web. Recently, he reviewed an e-book that claims to show how to make money by tearing up old books and magazines and selling them on eBay. The Little Book That Beats the Market

Book Review by H. Tim Sevets

Joel Greenblatt's The Little Book That Beats the Market may be the last investment book you will ever need to read.

If only I had had this book when I was in my twenties. Quite honestly, I do believe I would be a millionaire by now - perhaps several times over. As it is, by applying its principles I am seeing my stock market wealth grow faster and more steadily than it ever has before, and I am confident of having a quite comfortable retirement as a result.

Profits from Your Backyard Herb Garden

Book Review by H. Tim Sevets

Profits from Your Backyard Herb Garden, by Lee Sturdivant, is a simple and straightforward business guide for anyone who likes working with plants and would like to earn a living or at least a side income from it.

The most valuable part is its suggestions as to which particular herbs to grow and market. Sturdivant pares the "essential" list down to 12, starting with basil: "If you only have room for one herb – make it basil," she writes. The others are dill, French tarragon, mint, oregano, sweet marjoram, French sorrel, rosemary, chives, parsley, thyme and sage.

Sturdivant cautions that the herb business is not a quick route to becoming a millionaire. But as an enjoyable way to make a hundred or, potentially, several hundred dollars a week, it could prove to be the road to business success for quite a few aspiring garden entrepreneurs.

The Sedona Method

Book Review by H. Tim Sevets

Who knew self-help could be so easy? The Sedona Method by Hale Dwoskin proves that it doesn't have to be complicated at all.

In brief, the method taught in this book is a way of dealing with negative emotions at the moment they arise. Most people tend either to suppress such feelings and try to cover them up, or give in to them and become depressed, angry, frustrated or fearful. But there's a third way to deal with them ...simply letting them go, releasing them, allowing them to peacefully float away.

Ultimately, though, the Sedona Method is not just a shortcut for releasing negativity. It can be used to set and achieve goals, clear the way to greater material prosperity, help to create or strengthen a relationship, break bad habits, improve health, and much more.
