Why Close To My Heart?
My Acrylix
Affordable, convenient, easy to use!
My Acrylix stamp sets are a very affordable alternative to stamping over rubber stamps, and yet quality is not sacrificed. The stamps, as well as the mounting blocks are clear, allowing you to see exactly where you are placing your image. They come in sets, so for the same price as many single rubber stamps purchased at a craft store, you can get several acrylic stamps.Another benefit is that the My Acrylix stamps are light and compact, making them easy to store, The My Acrylix storage containers will hold fifteen sets of stamps and the container is small enough that it can be stored in a desk drawer or cabinet.
The acrylic is a softer material than rubber, allowing you to use less pressure when stamping an image. They can be used with inks, markers, embossing powders and a variety of other art mediums. Clean up is a snap. A quick spray with the My Acrylix Spritz on the Double Scrubber and a quick wipe with the stamp and it is ready to be put away.
Affordable, convenient, easy to use! What ever did I do before I discovered these?
Close To My Heart Papers
A necessity for scrapbookers and card makers alike!
The papers come in three level kits:
1. The first level is excellent for beginners. The paper has pre-printed layouts. All you have to do is add some embellishments, a stamp or two and some photos and voila...you have a beautiful page.
2. The second level is an assortment of cardstock stickers that coordinate with the pages from both the first and third levels. These are beautifully thick pictures and I enjoy using them on a variety of different crafting projects, such as photo frames and album covers.
3. The third level is an assortment of solid colored cardstock and patterned papers, again all matching. This level is for crafters of any kind. I like to use them to make cards, scrapbook pages or any other paper crafting I may be doing.
Embellish, Embellish, Embellish!
Embellishments are the perfect way to dress up any paper crafting project.
Close to My Heart has so many different embellishments and I love them all. One of my favorites is the ribbon. I am a big fan of crossgrainribbon, as I love to stamp it and ribbon always adds to a page or a card. Paper flowers are something that I certainly could not do without. I like to color my flowers to match my project and flowers can also be used in a variet of different ways. Some of the many other Close to My Heart embellishments that are available are: sparkles, tags, acrylic accents, rub-ons, buttons, eyelets, brads and many, many more.
When I am not feeling great about one of my pages, often all it takes is to add a couple of embellishments and it is likeable again.
Close To My Heart Page Layouts
Sometimes your best idea stems from seeing someone else's best ideas!
Close to My Heart products are great for scrapbookers at any level. One of the best resources I use is to look at other peoples page layouts. I can then take ideas from them, add some of my own creativity and come up with a totally unique page.
