As any business woman knows, appearance is one of the most important aspects of a successful meeting with a client. As females we want to look our best and be as fresh as possible so we can attract the opposite sex. Seriously, we do.

When we take pride in our appearance we seek out professionals to give us manicures, pedicures and freshen up our acrylic nails. We depend on the regulation of the health department to check out these establishments to make sure that we are protected against bacteria transferals, fungus and diseases.

After being cut continuously and hoping that in some remote area of the work stations there is a sonic sterilization compartment, the idea that there isn't such a place is making me extremely apprehensive. I dream about the drills slicing into my cuticles. Wondering how many people before me were sliced as well.

Is it me? Do other people have the same fears?

Here in Las Vegas, I feel that the people in the government think that the patients who were unfortunate enough to have had procedures dones at the centers are the only people at risk and that's too bad.

I get no feeling of remorse.

I cannot imagine the terror that these patients are living with. I cannot imagine how they sleep at night. I cannot fathom that the people hired to protect us against such ignorance cannot be fired for neglect.

One day as I was practicing my daily imagery, I had a revelation. I saw myself driving down a tree-lined street in my brand new white BMW with a sandalwood interior, pulling into the driveway of my beautiful contemporary white stucco 4000 sq. ft. home. I walked in grabbed a couple of marinating steaks, threw them on my professional stainless steel barbecue grill and jumped into my awesome palm tree lined in-ground pool. Everything was perfect. My kids live close by and we all enjoyed the benefits of my successful marketing career.

But, it was a dream. I had to stop myself and asked why wasn't this already part of my life?

What made my life's journey so different from those of let's say, Donald Trump?

Instead of this being a threatening thought or one that brought me down, I felt uplifted. It was a question that I needed to ask. I felt a revelation coming upon me.

What was the real difference?

Baby for baby what makes us who we become?

Here's my logic. If just after birth Mr. Trump and I were placed side by side in the nursery at the hospital and a team of physicians evaluated us, I wondered what the results would show? They'd probably declare that as babies go, we were alike. Well, except for the male female thing. Every cell in our bodies would be pretty much identical. All 10 trillion cells placed precisely in the same places as though we were built from some divine blueprint.

As time went by, if we remained in the same environment, we would most likely be expected make similar advances. We would crawl, walk, talk, feed ourselves, socialize, go to school and learn.

I began to realize that the distinctions in all people are determined by some pretty common factors. For example, we are the result of where we live, where we're schooled, who our parents are, what our parents know, and how our parents make a living,and so on. None of this is a bad thing. It's the foundation upon which we build our futures.

It's kind of like life's little joke. When you're rich you have mighty different challenges from those of us who are not rich.

Experiencing the good things of life is a natural process for the wealthy. It's an event for the rest of us.

Now these thoughts that I've shared with you are truly just a product of my way of reasoning. I believe that Mr. Trump is part of my thought process because I admire him and his accomplishments so much. I think that he may have had a bit of an advantage over my life and as I begin to see that, I know that I can change those things that affect me. I am able tofind the way and push myself to succeed.

After all, we are the same.
