Is Treasuretrooper a SCAM?

Is Treasuretrooper a scam?

This question has popped up on numerous occasions and before directly answering it, there are a few items that should be clarified.

1) SO MANY PENDING OFFERS!

Of course. For anyone familiar with GPT websites, the endless list of offers and the money you earn associated with them is enough to make anyone get excited.

What people need to keep in mind is that fact that in some cases similar offers are provided by the same advertising company. When paying for a lead, a company is looking for as many unique individuals as possible so naturally they won't pay the same person twice.

Or...

They don't want to pay the same person twice within such a short time frame.

It is very important, when trying to maximize your payout, to follow a few simple guidelines when completing any offer.

MydailyRyan Tips & Tricks

Following these simple steps will greatly increase your chances of NOT having so many pending offers AND will increase the amount you're getting paid.

2) READ READ READ

Treasuretrooper does a great service to the GPT community. For all of their offers, they list a short description of what exactly is required to qualify for an offer.

So long as you take the time to read what exactly is required, it will go a long way to not only helping to increase the amount of offers that credit for you, but save you a TON of time on needless work.

3) I'VE DONE ALL THAT, BUT STILL HAVE PENDING OFFERS

A sad but true reality. Not every offer will approve for you. That is the way of the business and you are not alone in this. Infact, I've done almost 500 offers since joining Treasuretrooper and infact, about 40% of the offers I've done never credited for me and never will.

That is the nature of the beast, but I'm still happy with the $1000+ I've made.

So, going back to the original question and main purpose of this entry:

Is Treasuretrooper a scam?

The answer is a simple and resounding NO.

Treasuretrooper has build a solid reputation for paying it's members in a timely and reputable manner. I've seen several reports of people claiming to have been banned and their earnings taken away from them.

That is true and several members have been banned. However, their actions and either a lack of reading or simply trying to cheat the system was a direct cause of that.

Truly, those actions only help to solidify a strong GPT website for those of us in the community who are looking to earn an extra income legitimately.

Treasuretrooper is a great site indeed. And if anyone is interested in being a part of it's community I STRONGLY urge that you first read their Terms Of Service and make use of their on-line forum BEFORE doing offers.

The extra few minutes you take to familiarize yourself before "jumping in" will not only increase your payouts and save you time, but make your entire experience a positive one ...the way it is suppose to be. Let's face it, nothing is more positive then earning free money!

MydailyRyan.com Offers 10% Commission Back To Referrals!

For those interested in earning additional money through GPT websites, MydailyRyan is offering to pay it's referrals 10% back on any comissions earned!

Whether knowingly or unknowingly, when you join a GPT website you will end up as someone's referral. GPT websites incentivize members by allowing them to gain referrals via games or by simply buying them.

Many of us don't like the idea of making money for someone else, but the reality of it is that is just how it is. There's nothing we can do about it...or is there?

By offering 10% back to their referrals, MydailyRyan tries to create a partnership between the two parties. It's a mutually beneficial relationship and best of all, referrals now earn money for themselves by basically earning money for themselves.

Earnings Portfolio - GPT, PTR, PTC

Create multiple streams of income to maximize your earnings and increase your earnings potential

For those looking to make an extra buck or two, it is important to not place all your eggs in one basket. Creating an earnings portfolio through multiple streams of income is a valuable practice.

There are three very popular methods.

GPT (Get Paid To) Websites

PTR (Paid To Read) Websites

PTC (Paid To Click) Websites

GPT WEBSITES:

In short GPT (Get Paid To) websites are one of the most common methods people use to earn additional income. Basically, how they work is that companies pay money to obtain demographic and market data of potential and current customers via surveys and trial offers.

You as a customer, join a GPT website and fill out the surveys or trial offers. The GPT website will then split the money they receive from the companies with you.

There are MANY GPT websites operating on the Internet, but the basic underlying premise is the same.

PTR WEBSITES:

PTR websites pay you to view ads that are sent to you via email. They payouts are not substantial, but the ease and simplicity can't be beat. They are not a primary income earner, but an essential secondary income source for your earnings portfolio.

PTC WEBSITES:

Similar to PTR websites, PTC websites pay you to click on links to ads/webpages. Unlike PTR websites, PTC websites have paid links on their site and are not sent via email.

Generally you will have more opportunities available each day with PTC websites. They don't offer alot, but as with PTR websites, they are a great source of secondary income for your portfolio.

GPT Website Review - Treasuretrooper and Cashcrate

Reviews for GPT websites Treasuretrooper and Cashcrate

Treasuretrooper

Membership Fee:

Overview:

A well designed GPT website that has been around for just over two years. They offer the standard Freebie offers, Surveys and Trial Offers. Their website interface has an Indiana Jones theme as well as features that include a $100 Treasure Hunt, Daily Slot Machine, A Trading Hut and others. They have an excellent payout track record which was a BIG reason I decided to go with Treasuretrooper. Their forums are active and their support is always helpful and fairly quick to respond.

Payouts For Offers:

Freebie Offers are the most typical earning options available. They are also the easiest. Generally you will get $.50 per approved offer that you complete. It doesn't sound like a lot, but over a week or even a month, it adds up!

Trial Offers are where a person can make A LOT of money quickly. Trial Offers are as they sound; you get paid to try out products or services. There are fees associated with these trial offers so it is very important that you read each one carefully before signing up. Most of the time those fees are shipping costs to have a product sent to you ALONG WITH a trial membership to some type of service.

Now, it sounds complicated and to a degree it takes some form of organization. The key is to remember when a trial membership expires. To make things easier, what I like to do is keep a spreadsheet that logs the date I signed up for a trial offer, the length of the trial offer, the date it is set to expire and the phone number I need to call to cancel.

IT is worth the effort though. Trial Offers can pay you anywhere from $5.00 to $38.00. Your out of pocket expense is generally $1.00 - $4.95 PLUS having to remember to cancel a trial membership. Not bad I'd say.

Extra Features:

$100 Treasure Hunt. Members can go on a treasure hunt for $100. It requires several items that you obtain via various methods on the Treasuretrooper website.

Daily Slot Machine. Members are allowed to use the Treasuretrooper slot machine once a day and win either money, prizes or artifacts required for the Treasure Hunt.

Trading Hut. By doing various offers, you also receive 'gold and platinum' coins. No not real ones, but ones that can be used at the Trading Hut in exchange for various prizes including a IPOD, XBOX and Giftcards

Pearls. After each offer that you complete, you get to play a mini game and win a pearl. Pearls can be used at the Trading Hut to buy a 'bracelet' which is used to buy referrals. A very good item!

Minimum Payout: $20.00

Payout Method: Paypal, Check

Referral System: 1st Level Referral -- 20%. 2nd Level Referral -- 5%

Treasuretrooper has a TWO LEVEL referral system. For every direct referral under you, you will receive a 20% commission of their credited earnings. For every referral of your referral, you will receive 5% of their commissions.

EXAMPLE: My referral earns $10. In addition to paying that person $10, I would receive an additional $2 (20% of $10) from Treasuretrooper.

Cashcrate

Membership Fee:
FREE TO JOIN

Overview:

Cashcrate is one of the easier GPT sites to use. There isn't a lot 'extra' features and the site layout is very straight forward. They have a nice variety of offers which can easily be sorted according to what you may be looking for. As with Treasuretrooper, Cashcrate has a solid reputation for paying out members on time and as expected. However, unlike it's counter part what they lack in extra features they make up for in higher 2nd level referral commissions. Cashcrate is a good site for those new to GPT websites. However, having to chose between the two, I'd would still have to recommend Treasuretrooper. Remember, you are not allowed to complete the same offer on two different GPT sites, but there are offers on one that you WILL not find on the other.

Payouts For Offers:

Freebie Offers are the most typical earning options available. They are also the easiest. Generally you will get $.50 per approved offer that you complete. It doesn't sound like a lot, but over a week or even a month, it adds up!

Extra Features:

The downside to Cashcrate is the lack of extra features in comparison to Treasuretrooper.

For every $1.00 that you earn, you also receive 1 point. Points can be redeemed for prizes such as an IPOD, XBOX or Gift Cards.

Minimum Payout: $10.00

Payment Method: Check

Referral System: 1st Level Referral -- 20%. 2nd Level Referral -- 10%

Cashcrate has a TWO LEVEL referral system. For every direct referral under you, you will receive a 20% commission of their credited earnings. For every referral of your referral, you will receive 5% of their commissions.
