John Lennon: My Favorite Beatle

John Lennon Was My Favorite Beatle
But I also grew to love George, the spiritual Beatle; Paul, the practical Beatle; Ringo, the dude who backed it all up.
After the assassination of President Kennedy, many in my generation grew despondent.
We were depressed and disgusted by the status quo that epitomized the 1950's.
Then, Ed Sullivan introduced the Beatles to America!!
And we never were the same, again!
I Met The Walrus: Best Short Animated Film 2008
A 14 year old fan snuck into John Lennon's hotel room and did this interview, which is amazing enough.
40 years later we not only get to see the interview, but the animation is--well--very LSD like.
Please Injoy and fully assimilate the message here!!
Thanks to D.D.Delaney for sharing this with me and all of you!!

My Tribute To John Lennon
John's Vision Has Stayed In The Collective Unconscious
I was living in San Francisco at the time of John Lennon's Death. I was going to school to learn the Assagioli psychological technique called Psychosynthesis, and had just come back from a session with my mentor.
The date was 12/08/1980, and it was in that session I decided to go to nursing school.
This was a big decision from someone who dropped out of high school and took off across the country with a pack of dogs in one VW bug.
The death of John Lennon was the death of a dream, the death of a symbol of freedom and expression.
The other day, I was with a co-worker, a young woman in her 30's.
I said to her, "Well, at least your generation are not seasoned assassination survivors (like we are who survived the 1960's).
She said, "But I lived through the assassination of John Lennon and helped my mother who had a nervous breakdown."
Those of us who loved John Lennon can relate.
I know I had my own private breakdown.
But in the spirit of creative expression and service to Humanity, got myself up, brushed myself off, and trudged the road to Recovery of mind, body and soul.
Working Class Hero
Warning: A Swear word is used here-but I love this song and have to include it.
A working class hero is something to be-
When they tortured and scared you for 20 odd years,
Then they expect you to pick a career.

- I love them all but know more about McCartney and Lennon than the others. Recently watched the documentary about Lennon's life in New York. I'd recommend that if you can find it.

- John was my favorite when the Beatles were together. I had trouble understanding him when he got together with Yoko. But his death really shocked me. I wonder what kind of music her would be making today?
A wonderful collection of memories.

- Each one of the Beatles has a special place in my heart. John for his songwriting and strength of beliefs, George for his beautiful spirit, Paul with his amazing talent, and Ringo has such a wonderful sense of humor. Wonderful tribute to John! Spreading my Angel wings to bless this lens.
