The Accidental Lensography
I wanted a place to keep my favorite lenses so I could find them easily. While making it I realized it reflects my interests so it's kind of like a lensography of sorts. These are not all my lenses, in fact most are not, but the collections of lenses tell a story or paint a picture of the kind of person I am. It will always be a work in progress as Squidoo has become an addiction and I need a way to catalogue all the interesting information I find on this site. Of course, I will always be adding in more of my own lenses as well. Enjoy!

When the Spirit Moves Me
I had a Philosophy minor in college so my interest in religion and philosophy has always been very strong. My mother had converted to Catholism before I was born, but came from a Baptist and Methodist background. My grandfathers were both Masons, as were my father and my uncles. I lived in Europe when I was a young girl and would listen to the adults discuss various issues with the church. I also got to visit some of the Christian shrines, especially Catholic ones. As a young wife I lived in Asia and was exposed to the Oriental view of the world, so I have been fortunate to see many pathways to what I will call here, the realms of the spirit/soul.
When I went to look at what lenses I had favorited, the largest number by far was in the Religion and Spirituality group, so my fascination with the spirit world even shows up in Squidoo.

Shh! Don't tell my husband...
He thinks I forgot how to cook, so he does it. How cool is that?
Health Related
I've been an amateur student of health ever since I needed to help my son as he was not getting well from his medical treatments. My mother was a nurse, so I was indoctrinated all my life on the importance of maintaining one's health. These are some lenses that give good information that is not necessarily mainstream.
Living Better from Nature
Favorite Destination Lenses
I love to travel and I've been all over the globe. Here are some of my favorite destinations.
Travel Lenses Featuring Mother Nature
So far I've been to 17 countries and most of the states, but my favorite places are outdoors where I can admire God's handiwork. Not to say that some of the cities on the planet are not magnificent, they are! It's just my personal preference to be outdoors...that's how I get energized. Here are some of my favorite lenses about natural wonders....
Favorite Birds and Butterflies
I love watching creatures that fly!
Favorite Pet Lenses

Some Of My Favorite Music Lenses
While I don't actually play any instrument very well, I have dabbled in guitar and piano, and have a reasonably pretty voice and can carry a tune. I am actually the least talented of my very musical family. But that doesn't keep me from enjoying music tremendously! I love many kinds of music, Rock, Classical, Opera, some Country, some Blues, some Jazz, some New Age, some Pop...and really do believe it soothes the soul...and is one of life's greatest gifts.
Some of My Favorite Movies
I love film as an art form, even more than books most of the time because of the visual effects and that the story is complete in a few hours at most. (possible ADHD)
To be a great film requires that the story be compelling, the characters be interesting, and the cinematography congruent. It all has to work together as a whole. Even the music matters as far as my reaction to the film. Some movies just pack a huge wallop evoking pleasure and fulfillment at having spent time in a different world.

- What a great idea, a lensography of your favorite lenses. I like that idea, and you have some amazing lenses here. Bookmarked so I can come back and check them out. Thanks so much for featuring my Zecharia Sitchin lens. I would have loved to meet this amazing man, but sadly now it's too late. I wonder if we will ever be able to prove or disprove his theories on the origins of mankind.
