My All Time Favorite Book

Watership Down By Richard Adams

This has been my favorite book since childhood. The best story about rabbits out there!! Don't let that put you off. Follow the band of rabbits as they leave their burrow on the whim of a physic rabbit (who turned out to be right!), join them on their perilous journey finding a safe, high place to live and discover what they do when they realise there are no does amongst them. (Can you say Kehaaar!!!)

I'm 28 and I've never eaten rabbit. This book is the reason why! I can't eat Fiver, Hazel or Bigwig!

The DVD is great too!

These are great books. I know thay are meant to be for children but they are so well written and absorbing they allow you to escape the mundaneness of everyday life!

My Favorite Authors & Why

  • Martina Cole - Her books are gritty, have great plots and characters you an relate to and are unputdownable
  • John Grisham - I had no interest in law until I started reading his books and now I know how corrupt it all is. His books are always well written and draw you in.
  • Wilbur Smith - His books are on vast subjects but I loved his novels set in Africa. On many a summer holiday have I enjoyed reading his books.
  • The best written horror books are by Stephen King, James Herbert, Graham Masterton & Dean Koontz. Yes they all have their different styles but they can all scare me!
  • James Patterson - Fast paced books full of action. Always a great read.
  • Val McDerrmid - Her books drag you down into the murkiest of minds and cruelist of acts - but all her books are a brilliant read garanteed!

My favorite book of all time has to be "The Autobiography of Malcolm X : As Told to Alex Haley".

Alex Haley brilliantly puts nto words the sentiments of Malcom X. It is like you are living his whole life yourself. The book is so facinating that I couldn't put it down once I started reading it.
