My Hidden Garden

This is one of my fave views in the garden, so beautiful...makes me forget myself....

This is a beautiful place to spend some time either alone or with my husband.

Here if we are together, we chat quietly about the past, sharing memories or talk about our future, planning our dreams, or simply in the moment just being together right now.

I like to stop and notice the amazing little things in nature that are all around us but I seldom have the time to really look at.

Amazing of itself, it also holds All the promise of a beautiful flower.

I love to see the flowers...

Ducks and ducklings are so cute to me and i love to see them grow up as I visit this garden from time to time.

It is also here that I try to live in the spirit of "The Power Of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. This is a book I have been reading of late and the CD's, which I read/listen to including here in my hidden garden. I find "The Power Of Now" compelling and interesting and I am gradually learning to incorporate into my life. It is not always easy but when I do I find a great sense of peace...

"Identification with your mind creates an opaque screen of concepts, labels, images, words, judgments, and definitions that blocks all true relationship. It comes between you and yourself, between you and your fellow man and woman, between you and nature, between you and God. It is this screen of thought that creates the illusion of separateness, the illusion that there is you and a totally separate "other." You then forget the essential fact that, underneath the level of physical appearances and separate forms, you are one with all that is."

I Love feeding the fish here...I find it intensely relaxing and so very close to nature. Now the bigger ones even let you hand feed them. I feel very much "in the moment" here with nature at peace and that in itself is so very relaxing....
