On June 22, 1982, I met my best friend in a Hawaiian laundry room.
He very kindly returned a pair of underwear I'd left in the washer, and asked me to have breakfast with him the next day. He told me later it was love at first site.
Four years, 10,000 miles and 3 marriage proposals later, we were married on Halloween with everyone in costume. Fast forward 22 years, 6 kids, 2 cats, 2 dogs and 5000 miles. We haven't looked back.
Little did I know that I got more than a husband...I'd landed myself a Super Hero!
