My Info Product Dashboard
Marlon Sanders' Info Product Dashboard has changed my life. Seriously! It still took me a while to get my products together, but this thing literally put the world of info products at my finger tips. I suddenly saw possibilities where previously I saw none.
I used to be FAR too intimidated by all things technological to even consider doing ANY of the stuff I'm now doing routinely.
So I'm a bit torn in too many directions at times -- i.e., I'm not working on ONE product, I'm working on about half a dozen, but still, I've gotten so much better.
And I have several finished ones! I have TWO ebooks that I wrote and that I'm selling, and I've sold quite a few of both of them. And working on more. Lots more.
I forgot who said this, but I came across the brilliant concept of doing things ONE AT A TIME! And so that's what I'm doing now. More or less.
As you can see, I chose Ganesh as the image for this entry. Ganesh = the Overcomer of Obstacles. Well, Marlon and His Info Dashboard have turned out to be the overcomers of obstacles for me. The step-by-step approach did it. More on that below.

Info Product Dashboard Update: Marlon Thought of Everything!
I love it!!! (even though it's taking longer than I thought...)
I love my new info product dashboard. I had wanted to create my own info products for a while, but I always seemed to run into trouble somewhere along the lines. So when Marlon Sanders came out with the Info Product Dashboard, a paint-by-the-numbers or step-by-step system that helps me finally create my very own info product, I immediately had to have one! It's just so cool.
And before I tell you more about the long saga, let me introduce you to my new info product:
Instant Stress Relief Strategies
And my OTHER info product:
Sell Your Stuff on Amazon.com
And now back to the story about the info product (Way Back, like to Last year, sort of in a time capsule):
I was planning to tell the story of how things are going here and in neighboring lenses as I work my way through the 36 modules of the system.
It has everything I could imagine and a lot that I had never realized might be helpful.
And some of the stuff I hadn't expected comes right at the beginning... Here I am raring to go and create stuff, and Marlon wants me to do: Market Research! For real!
My first tendency was to rebel. What, me, do market research? What for? I know what I want to create and they'll just have to take it or leave it. Just kidding. That would be a colossal waste of time, wouldn't it?
So I decided to bite the bullet and starting to get with the program...
But trying to come up with twelve (12) product ideas for the by now infamous 12-product review was intimidating.
And so I did what I always do when I write -- a sure-fire way to break through writer's block:
I started in the middle.
I have a bunch of half-baked products already. Info enough on my hard drive for several partial e-books. Those then can be turned into teleseminars and/or audiobooks.
And that's what I'm doing right now.
And since I wrote the first version of this posting, I've actually gotten into many more projects, some of which you might find ready to roll within DAYS from now (or one of them anyway, the other one close on its heels).
That's because I've been amazingly inspired by my Dashboard. What it does is give me ideas. Now that I have the techie stuff taken care of, my brain cranks them out like mad!
For now, though, if you're curious and want to check out this amazing creation tool, you can do that right here
A few things you've got to know: It has just about EVERYTHING built right in, and I can hardly wait to use it all.
It has audio, video, templates, and whatever tools you may need. Everything appears just as you get ready to use it.
No more lost time waiting for the expert to return your phone call etc., or for you to figure out which software to buy, and then get, and then learn how to use. No, not in Marlon's Info Product Dashboard. Everything is presented to you on the proverbial silver platter.
al thing. So go ahead and check it out already (please).
Or go to my original main site, which is My Favorite Self-Help Stuff blog.
But now: Drumroll....
I have a product!!!! Two products (see above!):
Stress Relief eBook
and
Amazon eBook
More below...
A real one. You can even buy it:
Right here!
What is it? It's an ebook (okay, so I'm starting at the beginning!) on how to feel better quickly.
You can check it out at one of my assorted other Squidoo lenses too: feelbetterquickly.
Or here: Feel Better Quickly: Emergency Rescue Toolbox for your Mood
It's just what it says: a book filled with tools and techniques that will help you feel better whenever you have one of those days, feel stressed, discouraged, distressed, whatever.
Go check it out. You'll like it.

Beyond Marlon Sanders' Dashboards
Okay. Marlon Sanders rocks! I love his stuff, and the man himself is majorly cool. I was so thrilled when I met him in person at Unseminar 9 in San Antonio last year. He gave me some great advice too!But there have been a few other tools I used to get me where I have gotten, and I wouldn't want to keep those from you.
Here they are:
1) something that turbo-charged my writing speed
2) something that helped me overcome my tendency to procrastinate and feel overwhelmed
3) something that helped me create reports (i.e., saleable info products) literally overnight (well, over a weekend anyway).
4) something that turbo-charged my mindset
