GOT QUESTIONS About My Internet Business?

There is so much to learn when researching My Internet Business, to decide if this is a good investment for you. What I decided to do here is compile a list of questions that I am frequently asked, and provide all the answers here on my blog!

Shedding light on some of the biggest questions folks have about My Internet Business

What products do you sell?

With My Internet Business we sell the 'picks and shovels', or the tools, that enable people to make money online and build a second source of income. We sell packages of high-demand digital software that teach people how to build multiple streams of income.

We also sell membership in an exclusive travel club that has some great deals for anyone who likes to travel for business or pleasure.

Most importantly, by purchasing a membership with My Internet Business, you are going to be *trained* in how to use these tools to make money online-and once you have learned this, you will be able to duplicate it with any product that you want to sell.

How do you make money with MyInternetBusiness?

Your job as a MyInternetBusiness owner is to market your website, that we design for you. The more interested visitors you get to your website, the more leads you will generate, and the more callback requests for your sales assistant to follow up on, and the more sales you will make. So it is all about driving traffic to your website, using the methods that we will teach you.

You can sell the individual products via the MyInternetBusiness retail center that is built for you, and you keep 100% of the commission. Or, you can sell the entire packages, and make between $300-$2000 per sale.

Which level should I start at?
Well, if you start at the top, you will earn up to $2000 on each sale, plus residuals from all of your sales. But that is the most expensive investment, so if you are afraid of the risk or don't have the money, you can start at a lower level...if you start at Bronze, it's only $495, but keep in mind you'll only make $300 per sale-even if you make a platinum sale.

With regard to SEO; you state that you take care of this. Will this be sufficient to generate any lead traffic?
We take care of the SEO-friendly web design, which is the first component of generating search engine traffic, but it is your job to build many quality backlinks to your website. These, in tandem, will allow visitors to find your site on the first page of Google, Yahoo, etc. This can take 3-4 months before you start to see heavy lead traffic, but again, this is where most of my sales come from!

As far as learning curve and initial time investment; How much time, (not looking for minimum hours; simply what amount of time is reasonable for this) would I need to spend initially in order to have an operational business that will begin to generate leads/sales? Will I learn all of this from you; your team site, audio/video...? What won't your team support me in where I will need to find an outside source to complete any of this?

Assuming that you diligently follow the 17 FastStart action steps on our team training site, you can realistically expect to see your first sale in month 1 or 2. If you continue to follow our Daily Method of Operation, you can expect to have a couple sales a month starting in month 3-4. This assumes in addition to doing our SEO marketing, you also have an advertising budget of around $300 per month. A greater advertising budget, of course, results in more sales faster.

The beauty of MyInternetBusiness is that once your website, autoresponder and payment processor are setup, you have an operational business and can plug in to turnkey pay-per-click advertising campaigns immediately, if you have the advertising budget. The SEO marketing does take longer, like I mentioned, but our training site and weekly training webinars teach you exactly how to do it. It is still up to you, however, to implement what we show you.

In terms of outside source, that would be any paid advertising campaigns you want to do. MIB has a couple built-in turnkey marketing systems, and we also have on the training site our best and top-producing advertising campaigns. Pay-per-click is the most consistently successful, since you are getting leads who actively searched for the 'buying keywords' that you are targeting.

In terms of closing sales, the sales call center is built-in to the MIB system. We also have a 24-hour 'sizzle call', and MyInternetBusiness Com frequently holds live opportunity calls that your prospects can attend.

Pay Per Click; I have heard this is costly. Can you provide some specific information as far as costs, clicks you receive, conversion rates, how many clicks required to convert to an actual sale, etc..?

PPC is like the other side of the coin with SEO-same effect, but PPC is instant while SEO takes a while. PPC is costly, generally for good keywords you will spend .40-$1.00 per click. These are very good quality leads, though, since they specifically sought you out using the keyword for your business. Depending on your website, conversion is generally 1 or 2 out of ten visitors will become a lead. Using a conservative 1 in 100 lead-sale ratio, that means you are spending about $300-$600 per sale. Still, that's a significant $800-$1700 profit if it's a Gold or Platinum sale (and most MyInternetBusiness members buy Gold or Platinum)

What other marketing methods are you using offline and online?

SEO is the greatest focus of our online marketing. We also do some targeted email marketing, PPC, video marketing (this is becoming increasingly huge!), and a few other methods. Offline, we have used during high-traffic months an ad and feature story in Home Business Connection magazine, that tends to generate some very high-quality leads. Some members do newspaper advertising, postcards, etc

But ultimately, most sales come from SEO, PPC and video marketing.

Is this what you do full time; how many hours or is this a ancillary business to whatever yuo do full time?

My main business is in development of renewable energy power plants. Internet marketing would definitely be ancillary...I'd say I spend 2-4 hours a day on MyInternetBusiness and Passport to Wealth combined. Finally, I am the Director of Finance for a company here in Savannah as a 'day job'. I manage to stay pretty busy!

Do you use MLM or home based leads that are called, e-mailed, voice broadcasted..?

Some people do, to be honest I don't have time to call leads so I don't bother with any of that. I favor attraction 'pull' marketing rather than 'push'-thus the success of SEO and PPC advertising

If you do some of the initial work; in your opinion why do some succeed and other fail?

Because there IS work to be done, even if you are outsourcing your marketing you still need to set up the marketing campaigns.

Those who fail treat this like a lottery ticket instead of a business. They don't follow our action steps, they don't ask questions when they need help. If you don't market your site, or have professionals do it for you, how is anyone ever going to find it?

What does it take, (time, effort, money, number of leads, etc) to get to 10-15k per month or more?

Realistically, give it 1 Year of solid, honest effort on your SEO, consistent monthly PPC advertising of $250 that you ramp up with a % of your sales, and as you learn and master internet marketing share everything you find that works with the members of your team so that they can make sales to and generate passive income for you. Once you are making $10-$15K monthly, you'll be spending at least $3000 per month in advertising to generate those sales.

Why do you market Passport to Wealth and MyInternetBusiness as opposed to just one of them?

Passport to Wealth is right for some people, while MyInterneBusiness is right for others. Our team teaches and promotes both businesses so that we can offer the best fit for our prospects. PassportToWealth is a simpler model where you can start at the top for a smaller investment, while My Internet Business has a more diverse product line and better training system. As a rule of thumb, MyInternetBusiness is the way to go for those who have the capital to start at Gold or Platinum, otherwise they will make more money per sale with Passport to Wealth.

What other affiliate, cross-sell or other income streams do you suggest,/practice?

Multiple streams of income is what it's all about. With the MyInternetBusiness retail center you get pre-created sales sites for each of the products, so that you can sell them individually, instead of the whole package. The goal of this retail center, aside from making nice 100% commissions on the individual products, is to generate leads for selling the whole package...a customer who buys one product from you is obviously interested in internet marketing, and already has built the trust of the customer relationship, so that makes them a prime candidate for the rest of your business!

It's also a good idea to sign up as an affiliate for whatever online services you are using-many advertising companies, web hosting, domain name, etc. will give you a link that you can use to promote their service for a % of sales.

Does your team have company conference calls or do you do most of training and motivation via video or..?

Yes, we do have weekly team-only training webinars with conference. These are recorded and posted to the training site for those who cannot attend the call. a> also has company-wide trainings, and bi-weekly opportunity calls for your prospects.

What is the biggest reason an interested prospect of yours does not convert or move forward?

Those who don't move forward generally just don't have the capital to start their own business, can't get it, etc. I don't really run into people who are skeptics, don't believe it works, not interested in being a business owner, etc because of the attraction marketing that kinda pre-screens out those types. The people who come to me are already interested in running a successful internet business, and just want to be sure they join with someone who is willing to teach them how.

Do you use lead capture pages, free gifts, reports, etc to help draw in prospects and what is the automation behind this to follow up?

Yes, yes and yes! Your website will be a professionally-designd lead capture page offering free gifts and/or reports. As soon as they leave their name and email, and hit submit, they are added to your system, and will begin to receive your automated email followup letters (we have some killer sales letters for both MyInternetBusiness and Passport to Wealth). At the same time, when they hit submit they will be instantly redirected to your video presentation supplied by the company. We handle setup of this entire system.
