My Jupiter Jack

I'm sure most of you know what this product is about by now. The Jupiter Jack let's you safely talk and drive all thanks to a tiny accessory that you plug into your cell phone. Then all you do is tune your car radio to 99.3 FM and your conversation transmits over your car's speakers keeping both your hands free.

Now there were definitely 2 different Jupiter Jack commercials floating over the airwaves at one point. Last month I caught a glimpse of one that was giving away an extra Jupiter Jack. Problem was I never saw it again and couldn't find that version of the offer online...until now.

My Jupiter Jacks arrived in a tiny box sooner than expected. As soon as it arrived I called up a friend of mine who lives down the street to drive on up so we could put one in each car and test them out.

Me: Is it working? Can you hear me? (speaking into Jupiter Jack)

Him: (silence)

Me: Hey you didn't hear me? (starting to shout out window)

Him: Batteries dude...

Me: Oh right, right, right...

A minute later we could hear each other clearly and I drove around chatting and grinning the whole time over my new toy. Overall I'm pleased with it's performance. I didn't get any static, the sound didn't fade out at any time, and I like how I don't have to stick a bluetooth device in my ear or cradle my phone awkwardly while driving.
