About an hour ago I was checking out the Philanthropy blog here on Squidoo and discovered a cool charity called Kiva. They match YOU (and your spare dollars) with people in poorer countries looking for loans to start businesses.
So I decided to lend some money to Filipe Marrengula. He owns a barber shop and wants to expand. Why don't you lend him some money too? He only needs $1150 in total. Today I joined Kiva and made a few loans. A combination of procrastination over come and cleaning out old emails.
