Mykonos has its own special architecture, as part of the Cycladic Islands(see below). It is famous for its uniqueness and charm. In fact the rapid growth of tourism over the recent yaers has extended its reputation well eyond the borders of Greece.The exteriors of Cycladic buildings are simple and unembellished, whiteeashed, with only a few windows and a particular kind of roof, whic coems in 3 variations: inclined, pitched or vaulted. This maked Cycladic houses resemble to white cubes!
