Her latest studio album, released in august 2008. A new mylene album is always a treat. Fans had to way more than 3 years since her last. It's a 10 tracks album, that includes "Appelle Mon Numro", "Sextonik" and the single "Degeneration".

That was the time I heard her and had some of her songs from the Alliance Francias, where I was carrying additional one-year French language studies. I had French for two years in the 1970’s.
She was my favourite French singer. I liked Tristana, Jardine de Vienne, Sans Contrefacon and A Quoi Je Sers .. However, it is difficult for me to understand every thing yet.

My favorites are her older hits. Tristana is the song that got me hooked. I love also many of the "B" sides of her singles. I was very disappointed by her last album. It's good but not to par with her first albums.

"psychiatric" was released as a "B" side for the 7" single LP "Allan". It's a tribute to David Lynch's movie "Elephant man". Mostly a music piece with very few lyrics. was a big flop when it came out. It was taken off the screen after less than 3 weeks.
