I am Jenn, and I can't stop drawing stuff.

After years of doodling, I am finally making money at this. I do my work from home, and more often, from coffee shops. This lens is a work in progress where I will be featuring some of my work and also my favorite inspirations.

Keeshond Cartoons

I had a number of cartoons published in Keeshonden
Magazine, a magazine for lovers of the Keeshond dog breed.

The "Master Bedroom"

This cartoon, "The Early Risers," did not have a chance
to be published before the magazine went out of business:

What my cartoon brainstorms look like.

These doodles are from my files of brainstorms, trying to come up with ideas for Keeshond cartoons.

Sometimes I have an idea I really like, but it never becomes a finished cartoon, because I just can't seem to tie it all together with a good story from start to finish. All these ideas have a chance to be used eventually though, somewhere.

The Keesies and the Pomeranian who inspire all my dog drawings:

Enjoying our bully sticks by my life is a cartoon

Skippy with his three Keeshond cousins by my life is a cartoon

Scarlet took her Christmas toy outside. by my life is a cartoon

skippy by his tunnel by my life is a cartoon

Greeting Cards

I sold these cartoons to Allport Editions as greeting cards.

Roz Chast

Even better, watch Steve Martin interviews Roz Chast, featured on the New Yorker website. In my opinion, this interview is better than the CBS one. Very funny!
