In my opinion music is the universal language...universal as it doesn't matter what religion, colour, race or beliefs you have, everyone loves some sort of music!
I have been playing both the drums & guitar for about 15 years now and have a true passion for playing, if you want to learn, here are some Beginners Guitar Lessons you can have for free!
Dont get me wrong, i am definately not a "Tommy Emmanuel" or a "Lars Ulrich (Metallica)" but...I can play a lot of the stuff that these guys can play....and so can anyone who wants to. I also just love to listen to music, and with new technology like the ipod, it has become really easy to carry your whole music collection with you, anywhere in the world! Some of my favourite bands are: Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Metallica, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Nickelback,Guns N Roses, Foo Fighters, Greenday, Cold Chisel & Nirvana...Basically anything to do with rock that has awesome guitaring!!

Appetite For Destruction was the debut album for Guns N Roses, released in 1987. This album sold a huge 28 million copies and went 18x platinum. The original band members are: Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff Mckagan and Steven Adler.
Songs on this album are: its so easy, out ta get me, anything goes, think about you, rocket queen, welcome to the jungle, sweet child o mine, nighttrain, mr brownstone, paradise city, my michelle & your crazy.This is one of my all time favourite albums.

I added these Guns N Roses blogs because they truly are a hot topic, maybe not so much now after they split, but they were a supergroup. With guys like Axl Rose & Slash and songs like Sweet Child O Mine and Welcome To The Jungle, it would have been really hard for these guys not to become one of the best bands of the 1980's (rated by Rolling Stone Magazine) The same magazine also rated "Appetite for Destruction" as Number 61 in their list of the "Top 500 Albums Of All Time"
Kerrang magazine has listed "Appetite For Destruction" as Number 1 in their list of the "Top 100 Greatest Rock Albums Ever"..And for me, this album has to be included in the top 10 albums of all time.

- The music certainly rocks and the background beats of drums certainly lifts the spirits. Led Zeppelin's Stairway to heaven is simply marvelous.

- Great post, Scott! I listened to GNR back in my high school days and totally loved it! I would actually say that the other Red Hot Chilli Peppers album (forgot the title, but the one with the song "Under the Bridge") is better than Californication, but anyhow, I love RHCP! Love your lens! Great job!
