Pet Friendly Travel: Include the WHOLE Family!
Pet Friendly Accommodations and Activities
My family and I absolutely hate traveling without our dog, but we know how hard it can be to find pet friendly hotels in Myrtle Beach that provide quality services and amenities. We were so happy when we found out that the Springmaid Beach Resort is now one of the few hotels in Myrtle Beach that is pet friendly! We love the atmosphere at Springmaid, and now it's even better since we don't have to leave our pup at home! I was surprised at how simple and stress-free the staff made it to accommodate our dog. As soon as I read that Springmaid Beach Resort was pet friendly, I called to book my family's hotel reservations for this summer. I told them I was interested in a pet friendly room.
There is a wing of 13 rooms dedicated to pet owners traveling with their dogs. This is actually very smart because if you are not traveling with your pet, you don't have to worry about staying in a room that may have previously been occupied by a family with a pet. I booked one of the pet-friendly rooms for my family, and read the pet waiver and rules form, which were bother very basic and straight forward. The only other thing I had to do was provide proof that my dog was current on vaccinations, and we were good to go!
While at the Springmaid Beach Resort, we had to keep our dog in designated pet areas and on a leash, but they provided a lot of room for dogs to play and take advantage of a beach vacation. The hotel staff also filled us in on dog parks and fun places in Myrtle Beach to take our dog, like the Barc Park and the open spaces at Market Common! Both were really close to the hotel and a ton of fun.
If you are looking for a dog friendly beach resort in Myrtle Beach, I highly recommend the Springmaid Beach Resort. It is a great family friendly beach resort in Myrtle Beach , and now the four-legged member of our family can join us there as well!
