Carribean Resort & Villas

One of our all time favorites. The best word to describe this hotel is CLEAN. Sparkling clean. Since the new renovations took place recently with a new tower added, another swimming pool with a water slide, this hotel now has it all.

Water everywhere you go. Multiple pools, lazy rivers, splash deck for the kids and more.

Great location close to everything and the beach area is not overcrowded. Highly recommended!

Dunes Village Resort

Two indoor Waterparks! Yes, two of them. Six water slides, plenty of pools and lazy rivers. The kids wet deck and silly submarine gives your children plenty of things to do.

The Dunes is only a few years old with the Palms building being new last year.

Uncrowded beach area in a very nice location. Pool tables, ping pong etc allow everyone to have something fun to do. Cafes and Seattles Best Coffee Shop on location.

The Crown Reef Resort

One of the largest in all of Myrtle Beach, this hotel has it all. From a awesome lazy river which happens to be the largest in Myrtle Beach to tons of swimming pools, play area for the kids, hot tubs and more you will never run out of water here!

Great lunch with burgers, hot dogs, ice cream and snacks right on location.
Perfect South beach location! Do not forget the get the kids a Crown hat and yourself a free coffee mug for refills at the snack bar.

Make sure you also visit the Pavilion Theme Park Nostalgia area, they purchased many of the rides etc from the Pavilion when it closed. A great idea because of the many generations of families who spent time at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion.

One of the first large shopping complexes in Myrtle Beach, this beautiful shopping area is built around water and is absolutely gorgeous. They have it all from dining, shopping, attractions and more. Do not forget to check out the vintage carousel or go through the Mirror Maze.

Broadway at the Beach, this fun filled Aquarium has it all.

Visitors get to see giant sharks as they travel through reef area, a 750,000 gallon tank filled with giant sharks.

And lets not forget the Ray Bay, where you get to touch Atlantic Rays, Cow Nose Rays etc. This was loads of fun!

Myrtle Waves Waterpark

This water slide is at Myrtle Waves Waterpark in Myrtle Beach.

There are plenty of attractions in Myrtle Beach to keep you very busy. From Water Parks to theme parks, this destination has it all. If you like dinner shows, music, movies, threaters or even a cruise Myrtle Beach has it all.

You cannot get bored in Myrtle Beach. It is impossible!

Rainbow Rock was another awesome sight, thousands of different colored fish swim right in front of your eyes.

Myrtle Beach has over 120 golf courses for you to choose from.

Know as the golf capital of the world, Myrtle Beach South Carolina has several award winning golf courses but also host several top notch pro and amateur events every year.

With the names of Nicklaus, Palmer, Fazio, Norman, Love, Dye etc designing many of these courses you will be blown away at the beauty and layouts of many of Myrtle Beaches finest courses.

If your going to Myrtle Beach you will be sure to find a golf course that you will enjoy with the 120+ golf courses to choose from.

One of my own personal favorites is Barefoot Resort - Norman course.

The grand strand has a number of great locations for camping. If you want to camp in Myrtle Beach, I hope this information will help you.

We have personally stayed in a couple of them ourselves in the past.

Some offer cabins, lodges, tent sites, pull in areas and more. Some even have on site fresh water stocked ponds for fishing etc. Many have wireless internet, cable, full utilities, mini stores, laundry, showers, and eays pull through parking.

When you combine the natural beauty of Myrtle Beach South Carolina and add in the modern amenities of its local campgrounds you are sure to have a wonderful and memorable vacation in Myrtle Beach.

One such place that is located right on the beach is Ocean Lakes Family Campground. An awesome clean campground that sits right on the ocean. Plenty of parking spots for your RV's and cars.

Ocean Lakes has a huge swimming pool with lots of sun chairs to relax on. Also has a kiddie pool for children and a golf cart road for easy travel around the campground. Amazing wooden shaded area close to the beach.

Another nice one on the beach is Pirateland Family Camping Resort. It is loaded with amenities such as a 510 ft Lazy river, camp store, miniature golf course on location, outdoor swimming pool, snack bar, ice cream parlor, kiddie pool with waterfall, paddle boat rentals, arcade and much more.

Most all campgrounds will amenities like these above are in great locations. For instance the Myrtle Beach KOA is only a couple blocks walk from the ocean. They have tent and RV sites, camping cabins and a nice store on location.

Often on our way to Myrtle Beach we will see many RV's and trailers on 501 heading to Myrtle Beach. Not just a few, many of them. So early on we decided to check some of these campgrounds out and found that they are some of the best campgrounds we have ever been in anywhere.

The Myrtle Beach campgrounds are loaded with extras for a reason, they want to pamper you and make sure you have a nice stay.

The two above, Ocean Lakes and PirateLand we have personally stayed a night or two in both of those campgrounds and really enjoyed it. Sometimes we get into Myrtle Beach a day or early or want to stay an additional day, with most hotels already booked we just went down to one of these campgrounds and stayed the night so we could enjoy the ocean and do the extra things we wanted.

Lobster tails, everyone's favorite! Lobster tails hold the sweetest, biggest portions of meat and are mouth watering delicious.
