Liddle Kiddles, Heidi and Jan, Rockflowers, Tutti, and Flatsy
When I was a kid, I wanted these dolls just like everyone else. But, my Mom couldnt afford to get them for me. Liddle Kiddles are my top favorite dolls to collect. I only had one Kiddle - Lenore Limosine, one Tutti Doll and one Jan Doll. Now that I am grown up, I'm trying to collect all the dolls I dreamed of having. Liddle Kiddles were the ultimate doll, they were the cutest little dolls and had all these fun accessories.

Liddle Kiddles
The first Liddle Kiddles came out in 1966 from Mattel. They were small dolls 2 3/4" to 3 1/2". They were so small and so cute, smaller than most dolls. They each came with their own accessories. Some examples are Bunson Bernie, he was a fire chief that came with a firetruck and ladders; Liddle Diddle, a cute little blond baby(she is pictured at the top in her crib);Calamity Jiddle, a little cowgirl with her own horse. Later Kiddles called Skediddlers, were 4" tall and each came with a pusher that attached to their back so you could make them walk. Through the years there were many different Kiddles made, Animiddles, Kozmic Kiddles, Jewelry Kiddles, Lucky Lockets, Kologne Kiddles, so many to choose from!!!Cinderiddle is my favorite Kiddle, she has her castle, her gown, her rag dress and her broom. Some other favorites are Alice in Wonderliddle, she even comes with the rabbit and the watch! There are also Kiddle houses, even a Kiddle Hot Dog Stand and Beach Buggy.I have a nice collection, but still need more to get them all!

Tutti
Tutti is Barbies little sister. She was introduced by Mattel in 1966 with her twin brother Todd. They were sold by themselves or could be purchased with different playsets. My Tutti has seen better days, I loved her so much, she is missing some fingers!! Tutti had lots of cute little outfits. There were other dolls to go with Tutti, Chris, and Buffy and Mrs Beasley. They all are so cute!!! Heidi and Jan
Heidi and Jan are from Remco. They each came with their own little case. Jan was an Oriental doll, in fact, I liked her more than Heidi, I guess because my Moms name is Jan. They have a button on their tummy that when you press it, their arm goes up as if to say "Hi!". Heidi and Jan had lots of accessories, house, furniture, and clothes. Jan

Rock Flowers
Rock Flowers are made by Mattel, they were in competition with Topper Dawn Dolls which were very popular. I preferred Rock Flowers because of their clothes. They were really cool little dolls! They were dressed in 70's outfits and each came with a pair of sunglasses. They were in a band, so they had a stage with speakers. Lots of fun!!!! Iris

Flatsy
Flatsy Dolls are small and flat. They had little frames they came in, which I suppose was meant to be their houses. They had tiny little accessories and could bend to pose. There was a bigger version of Flatsy also, but I always prefered the small ones. Barbie
Barbie was born in 1959 and continues to this day to be the best selling doll of all time. There were so many cool Barbies when I was little, I always wanted a Talking Barbie, hopefully someday I will have one that still works! Barbie had a lot of family and friends, Ken, Midge, Casey, Francie, Twiggy, Skipper, Scooter are just some. They were all made for play. Seems like most of the barbies made now are for collecting purposes only, what fun is Barbie if she just sits in her box??? Francie
The Lonely Doll Book
I first discovered this book by Dare Wright at the library when I was about 8 years old. I checked it out of the library over and over. When I found it one day at a Doll Show, I bought it and took it home to stay. This classic story was first published in 1957. It is about a lonely doll named Edith and the two bears, Mr. Bear and Little Bear that come to live with her. The pictures are adorable, its a great story for any little girl! - Nice information and links. I played with kiddles as a kid and had Liddle Diddle, the Animiddles, Little Bo Peep Kiddle (don't know her exact name). I also had most of the Lucky Lockets and all the Kologne Kiddles. Thanks for making me smile. 5 star lens.

- I loved my Barbies....still do. I now collect the ones that have "meanings" for me (e.g. the Civil War nurse - since my mom was an RN)....I also had a doll back in the 60s with the name "Suzanne" in it. She had long, straight, platinum blond hair and her waist "swiveled". Does anyone remember this doll/what her name actually was? I can't find her now but I'm sure she's still in the back of a closet, somewhere. Would it be worth hunting her down? She was still in a "hardly played with" state cuz she was too pretty to mess up (unlike my Tiny Tears). Tiny Tears was my babydoll and Patty Playpal was my toddler. Chatty Cathy still oversees everything, as she sits on my dresser!
