A look into my Secret Garden of Creativity?
My Secret Garden is a place Within that inspires me to create. It can be, drawing, sewing, cooking, painting, writing, making herbal products or studying. It could be planting my garden, listening to some nice soft music or sitting and drinking a cup of tea with a friend. It could be watching a good family movie with my husband and not saying a word during the whole thing. The list is really endless...
It is that one place within where you can be completely satified, feel tranquil and serenity all together. A place where you do not mine being alone because you enjoy who you are to the core of your being. It is a safe place where nothing can hurt you or make you sad. You can completely be who you are without worrying about anything going on around you. Do you have a Secret Garden?
This lens is about some of my favorite things that I do while in my Secret Garden. It does not matter if I am alone or with someone I care about, I can still reach inside and be in that wonderful place within.
I created this picture when my husband first introduced me to "Graphic Arts". Even though today my experience with working on Graphic Arts has advanced, the feeling of what this picture represents to me, still lives strongly in my heart.

I am not a real talkative in person. I adore my quiet time a lot! I am somewhat of a hermit (in some people's eyes) but I am by no means rude or snobbish. There are plenty of times I enjoy sitting with a friend and having a cup of tea, with a new mixture that we created together. A friend and I did this just the other day, our tea combination was: Rose Petals, Bergamot and Spearmint. It tasted great!I can sit and talk for hours about Spiritual and Nature things, but after doing that I sort of go into my Secret Garden and sit with everything for a while; it is almost like I listen to a spiritual tape recorder playing what we just talked about! The one thing I HATE doing and will not do, is argue about beliefs. I will not debate anyone beliefs with them, and I certainly do not push my path onto anyone. I believe with all of my heart that our spiritual path is our own Individual Journey.

One of my favorite things to do with my Husband
My husband and I are a lot alike when it comes to seclusion. We do not mind spending time together because we also both know how to be quiet around each other. We love watching movies together such as: Disney - family style movies. I personally like scary movies and every once in a while we will watch that kind of movie together (even if he is not crazy about them). It does not bother me one bit to watch scary movies alone at all; odd but true.Many times we are asked what kinds of movies do we like, and we always tell people, Disney Family type movies, Fantasy, and yes Space Movies! Now we have watched the The Lord of the Rings movies many times, and the Shrek movies (one of my personal favorites!) The Chronicles of Narnia is a movie we can watch over and over again.
Some of my most favorite Scary Movies are the Vampyre Movies. I have never seen one that I have not liked. I also like Werewolf Movies, American Werewolf in London; has one of the best transformations I have ever seen. There are certain kinds of scary movies that I will Not watch! I am huge fan of T.V. shows such as, Ghost Whisperer, Ghost Hunter and Scary Reality shows.
Movies and do not forget sometimes the used ones are just as good.

Writing....
Writing has always played a huge part in my life and my Secret Garden. When each of us write, we write from deep within, and although it may not make sense to anyone, WE always know the true meaning.
Turbulent Waters

Turbulent waters are running fast-
Trying to catch up with emotions that soon will past.
Cool crisp mornings that are filled with comfort and joy-
While the rest of the day feels very coy.
Sitting against a tree-
I wait to see if the turbulent waters will ease.
Moonlit skies in the night-
I wait patiently for Dreamtime to take me into flight.
Dreamtime takes me to a place of peace-
Where everything turbulent comes to a cease.
Dreamtime is a place of total joy-
Most of the time, unless you open the door.
The door that holds back the turbulent emotions you try to escape from-
Where nothing is worst, than your dreamtime becoming numb.
Black holes trying to cover emotions that are terrifying and weak-
I am not the type to be silent and meek.
So where is the balance in the turbulent waters for me?
I try to allow what is, to be.
But the rushing of the turbulent waters move real fast-
Upon a still inner peace who only wants to last.
Journal Writing
One of my most favorite things to do......My Garden
Gardening is something I love to do. Most things I plant, I start from seed and working with the energy of the plants by growing them from seed is remarkable.
For whatever reason, I love to grow things in containers. When we had some land, I did plant in the ground, but still grew many different in containers. I suppose by doing that you can control plants that want to grow wild.
Every single time during growing season, I go deep within My Secret Garden and imagine all of the symbolic things associated with growing plants; new beginnings, the cycle, nurturing and beauty. I love the fresh green color of new growth. Living in the South, with the summer heat, the green usually turns everything yellowish very fast.
But regardless of the growing time I have here, I am always so thankful for every second I do have to nurture the plants.
