So Why Are Siamese So Grand?

I'm here to tell how wonderful Siamese cats are.  We are the best. Oh yeah, I'm a Siamese.   Obviously I have a greater command of the English language than most cats (and some humans)

I have personal insight into the history, care, feeding and common facts about the breed.   I also make excellent gift recommendations. After all, see how fashionable I am?

My website and blog are always being updated as I find new and unusual things online.

Why I'm a Great Cat

I'm a wonderful cat. The Siamese cat breed is an ancient breed. It is also natural. This means that we weren't interbred by humans but the coloring and body shape occurred naturally in nature and reproduced itself. No one is exactly certain what the appropriate body type is--some say the heavier applehead Siamese is traditional and others insist it's the lithe body that I was born with.

Siamese cats make wonderful pets. They are loyal and affectionate. We love attention. We also tend to be very long lived. We hate to be left alone, so if you job takes you of town a lot or you work 24/7, don't bother. We'll hate you. We don't like just anyone. Remember that.

Siamese tend to be exceptional and I tend be an exceptional even for my breed. I have excellent taste in gift giving, a call to public service and am not afraid to speak my mind.

These are all reasons I am running for president. Check out my blog to help my campaign!

Fun Facts about Siamese

You know you want to know

Assorted trivia and facts about the Siamese
  • Siamese kittens are typically born with no markings. Markings darken with age and older Siamese often have a lot of color along their back, which is typically beige or tan as a young cat.
  • The coat color and the breed fault of crossed eyes may be caused by the same gene
  • A kinked tail is also a fault. Cheysuli was never shown because she broke her tail as a kitten and took the bandage off herself. Her tail set with a slight kink making her ineligible to be a champion.
  • According to http://www.oddrob.com/catFacts.asp, The color of the points in Siamese cats is heat related. Cool areas are darker
  • Cats have overtaken dogs as the number one household pet in the US and Siamese are one of the most popular breeds.

Oh my! Our friends had a Siamese when I was a kid and that stinker would sit on top of the fridge and wait for us to come in the back door so he could pounce. He had fun, I was scared to death of that cat. I've always thought of them as cats with attitude :) Great lens and thanks for the share.

Yes, I've had many siamese cats - now I have a Russian Blud. Just like humans, our pets need NATURAL medicine alternatives. See also Emergency Pet Care Kit for essential oils to use on your dog, horse or cat.
