Kimberly's Review

I read my first book by Jodi Picoult (pronounced PEE-coh) in the summer of 2007. I started The Tenth Circle around noon and had to tear myself away from it at 5pm to go to a meeting. I finished it later that night, before going to bed, and when I was done I knew I had found a new literary hero.

My Sister's Keeper does not disappoint. Told from the POV of a teenager, and several people close to her, it shows all sides of the life or death equation that is the plot. Should Anna Fitzgerald remain under the medical care of her parents where she may be forced to donate a kidney to save her sister, after already enduring 13 years of donations for which she was conceived?

My only mistake was starting this book at 10pm, because I read until 3am, unable to put it down until I knew how it would end.
