"If you don't have a myspace, you don't exist.."
Over 60% of internet users have a myspace page (and at least half of those know who Tila Tequila is). Because of her crazy huge myspace fame, Tila Tequila has her own tv show on MTV(!). Myspace is a big deal. If you work hard enough, hundreds of thousands of people will know who you are.
The idea is "The Dream of becoming a Celebrity made easy! by Myspace!"
and because of that, hundreds of thousands of people have joined Myspace, sent each other millions of friend requests and created the term "myspace whore".
So where do I start?
(you know you want to be famous too)
[Read it now:]
- Trains (take more time)
- Add sites (the fastest way)
Myspace Trains
To stay on the train, riders have to post bulletins with the train code a certain number of times a week or day. Usually its once everyday.
Myspace trains come in two different flavors. The whore trains and the pretty/fan trains.
Whore Trains
Whore trains are trains anyone can join, and anyone can stay on as long as they post. Usually on these trains everyone has the same image that says something like "add me!".
Pretty/Fan Trains
This other type of train is probably more popular. These are the pretty trains for the pretty people and the trains for a fan of something (like a band or a tv show). For these trains, the rider images are images of that rider. In the more designed trains, the rider images will also be edited to be a certain color or to have a border to improve the trains overall appearance.
The pretty/fan trains will also have a group on MySpace that you'll have to join. The group page is where you'll apply for the train, and where you'll post proof of your bulletins to stay on the train.
The popular pretty trains are the hardest to get on, but they'll usually get you the most friend requests.
Steps:
- Get on at least 10 trains
- Take 5 - 30 minutes a day posting bulletins and proof for all of them
You should get at least 300 friend requests a day from this (and you don't even have to add anyone like you did in 2003!) :D
Myspace Adder Sites
These type of sites are very efficient at getting you lots of friends in a short amount of time. But that's only if you join the right websites. When you go to one of these sites, you'll need to enter your friend id to login. Before you freak out, friend ids are public. Joining these sites does NOT make it easier for someone to hack into your account because these sites can only get what's already public; they don't have access to your email or your password.
[Continuing on..] After you login, you start adding people. Usually you'll just click on a persons picture and it will send them a friend request. So far this sounds like a train, but what makes these type of websites better than trains are that for every person you add, you'll get a point. Point systems vary on the different add sites, but usually its just one point for each person you add.
The more points you have, the more friend requests you'll get back. These sites are so great because you give (send requests) AND receive at the same time! If you're competitive there's an extra bonus: most adder sites will have a page showing off the people with the highest points. Those people get even more friend requests.
If you get lots of points (usually 600+) on a few popular adding sites, you can get over 1,000 friend requests a day(!). That adds up fast. What's even better is you don't have to be dedicated to these sites like you do a train. Trains you HAVE to post often or you lose the benefits. With adding sites, you can go there whenever you want for however long you want.
All adding sites are free. If you're low on time, but you want heavy (and effortless) promotion for your myspace, most adding sites will allow you to buy VIP time. VIP members are usually always featured on the home page of adding sites and get the most friend requests. If you have a band or a product (or even just yourself!) to promote, buying VIP to advertise your myspace is so much cheaper than buying ad space on regular, non-myspace websites.
Steps:
- Join a few of these sites (bookmark them so you don't have to remember the address)
- Zombie Adds and Candy Adds are two of the best adding sites
- Get at least 300 points
