- It is great to see this journal still available on the web. I remember when a person who I highly respected made this creation and shared it with the MystCommunity. But I haven't seen her in years Sep for det lense still showing her work.

- Shorah! There's a name I haven't seen in a while!
It's still me. (:jackal:) I keep waffling over whether to move this back to my personal website, since squidoo.com's interface is -- not exactly aesthetically pleasing -- but I've gotten more readers here. (And it's earned about ten bucks for that charity mentioned at the top... not useful, but hey, somewhere, there's a free library book that was funded by means of this one.)
I always meant to continue my MYST journal and do RIVEN as well. Now that I have RIVEN on my iPad (as it was always meant to be... these games really ought to be touch-screen), I should do that. I wonder if I can still draw anything by hand, let alone manage calligraphy, a decade later?

- I loved this game when it came out, although the atmosphere was a bit creepy sometimes

- Man, that MYST trailer is awesome. I love the huge, expansive landscapes of MYST. These days we have awesome graphics, but even though MYST doesn't have up-to-date graphics, I feel like I am there, not just playing a game. I love that feeling!! Games these days don't feel like that. It's way too obvious that I am playing a game. Not with MYST!

- OMFG, a MYST LENS!!! HOLY SHITE!! I <3 Myst, used to play it as a kid, started playing it yet again recently. I'm not expert at it, but I love it! What a sense of adventure in that game!!! Ah, such imagination. I'm on Riven right now. Thanks for the awesome lens!

- Wow, that was fabulous, you've been blessed.
I always got stuck in Myst, so it lost my interest real fast back in the day. Now that I'm older, it could be time to revisit it again.

- You've given me an idea now, I should be writing PIN numbers in D'ni but I've always had trouble with a 25 base counting system

- It sounds interesting. That space background in the into module is cool! I love the pictures of the pages too!

- Yes, MYST's puzzles have stranded many a would-be traveller in some alien place! Nowadays, fans of games post tips and walkthroughs that help if you're stumped, but such resources weren't available when MYST first came out.
