There are 3 types of Energy.

Kinetic Energy
Kinetic energy is energy in motion. A ball sailing through the air, water flowing down a waterfall or an aiplaine flying through the clouds. These are all forms of kinetic energy.

Potential Energy
Potential energy is often called stored energy. In reality the energy isn't actually stored inside of anything, but more of a build-up of energy.

There are many different types of potential energy which include; gravitational, chemical, elastic, & electric potential energy

Evidence of Energy
Some types of energy are not easily classified as just kinetic or potential energy. Sound, light, mechanical & thermal energy are all types of energy that contain both kinetic & potential energy.

Energy is all around us, it flows through our bodies to spark thought, movement & even breathing.
